The Carolina Panthers own the top of the second round with pick No. 33, and teams around the league believe they will target a receiver with either that pick or No. 39. That is no surprise based off how last season went, and because it's so obvious, we could see that impact how other receiver-needy teams react in the late first round. As Thursday's first round gets into the 20s, watch for teams to potentially slide back (or up in) to the first round to get a receiver. No issues with your post, it just slapped me back to reality again after you were posting about getting a rookie C (and a WR). Helping Chubba, Miles and Bryce and also knowing if we go C and WR, it means we still have holes at TE and all over the D and our RBs/QB combo is likely the worst in the NFL. Ugh, we really need to hit our picks this year and next. We can’t miss any day 1 (next year) and day 2 picks. -

Also with the new kick return rules you pretty much have to return the ball and the defense doesn't get a head start, so that's going to change the whole concept of who's active on game day weekly. A guy not afraid to run hard and get you started at the 40 consistently might jump ahead of a better receiver who doesn't have much return experience in college
