Cam should of never trusted the Rhule Panthers

So if someone rejects your idiotic world view, they're a "hit dog?" How might one go about disagreeing with you without being a "hit dog?"

You seem to be butthurt. Are going to follow me around white knighting for other people? How YOU feel about how I see things is a YOU problem. I'm addressing your weirdness once, before this thing devolves into something else.

How are you going to attempt to poo on my opinion and then proceed to tell me, I see the world however I want? What was the point of your post? Hit dogs holler

Didn't poo on it. Just saying you're reaching. And now you're trying to paint me with a broad brush. You do you though. Whatever.

I made a statement, which you disagreed with. A statement that apparently doesn't apply to you, which is why you put that caveat at the end. Yet you made about you. How tf is this so difficult a notion to grasp?

Following you around by discussing the same topic in the same thread? That's an odd and obviously inaccurate depiction of events. I'm not butthurt at all. The butthurt ones are the Cam fanboys like you, apparently, who are upset the team "only" gave him $6M to be a backup in a losing effort for a marketing gimmick.

You suffer from a serious case of main character syndrome, it appears. Anyone who disagrees with you, it's because they're wrong and it is a "them" problem. Alright.

his paycheck is irrelevant in this convo

again, it’s a people business.   Evidence is all over life.  Your life.  My life.  Everyones.

You either get that concept or you don’t.  Ron and Matt own a bank….all things being equal I’m working for Ron.   And I’m only work for Rhule for a poo ton more in cash.  That’s it.  I’ll take slightly less to work for Ron.  That’s life.

So, no tangible reason then. As long as we have that part straight.

Treating people poorly and being low character….impacts plenty.  Especially when you are in the business of managing people and bringing them in (which is football).

so yeah, I’d say having someone like Rhule matters in terms of winning long term.

it will impact coaches and players willing to come here.

People see Joe Brady.  They see Cam.  They see his pressers.   Matt Rhule isn’t where you want to be.

So how exactly would he be treated not poorly is my question. More money? It’s easy to just complain but can you specifically state what should have happened in the context of how things usually happen in the NFL and not just some personal feelings? What should have specifically happened?

Finishing out the season? You honestly wanted cam battered behind this oline when it’s clear he was in pain after just three games? That’s an honorable send off?

No doubt I think the last offensive snap would have been great to see cam take but let’s be real, aside from that, had Rhule trotted cam out for the remainder of the season just to watch him get beat to hell and continue to play poorly behind this franchise’s worst oline in history, and one of the worst in NFL in general, people would also be complaining it was no way to send off the former franchise qb.

So what is it exactly, that people wanted to see? Cam thrown in on short goal situations? I wanted this because it would give us the best chance to score but honestly would that small consolation really have made this allegedly horrible devastating ended all of a sudden a proper, monumental send off for cam? That would have made it all better?

One thing I’ve learned with stans is there is no winning, nothing good enough, complaints either way. I’ve learned they see the Panthers through a small lens, and have little knowledge of the NFL as a sport in general. Other great players aren’t even so lucky to get a nice paycheck to return even though they can’t play.

Cam will be in panthers HOF, he got paid nicely to come back and play a little as prides were swallowed, to be part of his original team again and imo thankfully wasn’t sent out there to injure himself. He will retire as a Panther. Things weren’t perfect when he was here but it’s all said and done.

I think when enough time has passed we will remember this as Cam's farewell. With how he played here, I doubt he's going to draw a lot of interest to get another starting gig considering how long he was out there this season. His return for me was less about Rhule, Fitterer, Tepper, etc. as it was about Cam and the fanbase. We got our proper goodbye. It was special even more so because it felt separate from this current drama.
