That is my only point, if you think you have the opportunity to draft a QB that you feel good about you take it.  It's easier to fix an O-line on demand then finding an elite QB.  I'm not saying the class has that guy for sure, but my only point is you can fix the O-line all you want and it doesn't change the fact sooner or later you have to find a good QB.  If anythign you might waste years of the good o-line not having a QB.  Look at the browns all of those years, they had one of the best LTs of all time and he was wasted because they could never find a QB.

In your post you used the phrase "if you think you have the opportunity to draft a QB that you feel good about you take it.  ".

What if you  don't feel good about the QB options available in the top 10? Should you take one anyway just to get a "franchise QB in round 1?

If you pick a guy in round 1 out of desperation and miss on him, the team will be set back even further.

Besides, does anyone on this board really want Matt Rhule to pick a QB to lead this team for the rest of the decade?

Unless something drastically change , Rhule won't be here after the 2022 season. The new coach and his staff should be one to select a franshise QB.

If you don’t feel good about any QB you are almost always wrong and need to reevaluate your ability to scout talent

Rhule has had 3 chances now to pick his qb.  He paid sam so he needs to win with sam.  He doesnt get to keep switching qbs until he finds one

What an awful opinion

matt rhule is paid to win football games, everyone desires that Matt rhule wins football games. Matt rhule is expected to do what it takes to win football games. Nobody cares about money or cap space or any of these meaningless things. They care about winning. At no point in any sport at any time has a scenario like you just described happened.

Could say the same thing about Tepper and why he needs to switch out HCs until he gets it right.

No argument here but I don’t expect Matt rhule to intentionally lay down and accept his fate just because I don’t like him, nor do I expect Dave tepper to long for a bad season just so he can rub it in Matt rhules face just because he doesn’t like him

    • Did we hear Corral will get more game time / a game plan?
    • Thanks to Anthony Rizzuti of Panthers Wire 1. QB Baker Mayfield: 80.5 2. OL Cade Mays: 79.1 3. WR Keith Kirkwood: 78.4 4. WR Derek Wright: 77.2 5. TE Giovanni Ricci: 75.5 33. TE Jared Scott: 46.5 34. C Pat Elflein: 45.6 35. QB Matt Corral: 43.3 36. RG Austin Corbett: 31.9 37: TE Nate Becker: 30.3   1. LB Cory Littleton: 92.8 2. CB Duke Dawson: 90.1 3. CB Stantley Thomas-Oliver III: 82.1 4. LB Brandon Smith: 81.5 5. CB Tae Hayes: 77.0 31. LB Julian Stanford: 37.7 32. DT Daviyon Nixon: 37.4 33. LB Isaiah Graham-Mobley: 36.4 34. DT Bravvion Roy: 36.0 35. DT Frank Herron: 30.2 Take from it what you will. I would like to see all the grades, but I will say that it appears that the depth at DT is bad, while the same at CB looks good. Our LB corps may not be great, but its floor is probably average at worst. All in all, these grades are probably a pretty accurate reflection of the team's strengths and weaknesses at certain positions. If you want to read the little no-account words that accompany the grades here it is: https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/lists/panthers-pff-grades-panthers-commanders/
