If you are a team like Pitt or Philly - I mean what the hell is the point of getting lucky and backdooring your way into a playoff spot just get your brains beat in and curb stomped on national TV and end the season that way? Personally I would rather have the higher draft pick.

Expanding the playoffs was a terrible idea.  Unfortunately, the NFL will become the NBA where just making the playoffs is the goal.

Philly has a young QB still growing, not sure what the Steelers goal is with Ben who basically begged them to let him play another season
