compare: CMC vs Deebo Samuel

Let's assume CMC is "healthy" at the start of this next season.. How do you feel these two players compare? Do you think CMC would be any better than Deebo in his role in SF?

It’s hard to assume he would be healthy because he rarely is, but yeh, I think he could put up similar numbers.

I'd say not running him up the middle 10 times a game would help in keeping him healthy. It'd be how we've been asking him to have been used for a few seasons now. I think it's a good template if we keep him.

IDK, but how they've been playing Deebo all year is how we should have been playing CMC. Shanahan is a genius man. Wish we could get somebody that could finally use CMC right.

Deebo simply because CMC is always hurt and Deebo is still on a cheap rookie contract vs. CMC's big money deal.

Rookie Deebo.

Deebo is a dog. He's much stronger than CMC and every bit as shifty. CMC may have the advantage over him on hands but it wouldn't be by much.

We need to use him exactly like they use Deebo. 7-8 carries, 7-8 targets. It would cut his touches in half but atleast he's on the field and fresh.  Hopefully we improve the line and Hubbard keeps improving. CMC has too much dead money to cut ties with this coming season anyways.

You realize deebo has only played one full season, and has missed 9 games already due to injury since being drafted in 2020. Right?

cmc and deebo are the same player

Deebo is always hurt… lol. This is his first healthy season since being drafted.

At this juncture, I have no choice but to assume CMC is not healthy and unavailable for anything but cashing big checks. Sorry.
