Sean Payton contemplating retirement??

Not sure I see Payton walking away from coaching—he loves it too much—but there’s definitely some buzz there that maybe he’s being courted on that side,” one individual well-informed on the situation told Payton. “Maybe he goes and does that and returns one day to coach the Cowboys or something.”

Take a year off doing tv. Have a bunch of good job offers like Gruden in a couple of years.. could see it. Amazon likely will pay him a huge deal.

Payton would have success with an elite QB. His infatuation with Taysom Hill is fuging him over currently.

Not even sure it would take an elite QB, just a good one.  Tannehill or Cousins in Payton's offense?  As a fan of the Panthers, I wouldn't want to see that.

I don't understand the whole "contemplating retirement" thing.  I am contemplating retirement myself, as soon as it is fiscally possible and I am only late 40's. 😆

How do these guy with a net worth of 25mil and can retire anywhere in the country and live like a king for the next 30 years, still keep working in their late 50's early 60's?

Do what you love and never "work" a day in your life.

Salary cap finally show up in 2022 for them or is he just not wanting another year with his boy Hill?

Bad year to desperately need a QB but you got to think he could lure an top vet their for a Brady-esk run.

We will agree to disagree on that one!

Rich and not working > working while rich

I think that when you not only qualify for but excel in a job where there are only 32 open positions in the world you have to be wired differently.
