Im actually OK with this; Gruden has shown to be a pretty good OC AND he has HC experience, so maybe he can help Rhule and somewhat fix the ship a little.

Wait I just read a thread on here saying we were going with that RB coach since we did a 2nd interview. Are we getting two OC's or something????? I'm so confused from reading things on this forum!!!!11

Gruden will only take the job if there's a chance he'd be head coach by mid-season. 

But it also shows how far he's fallen since his head coaching gig. He wasn't the guy his brother is, for both the good and the bad.

Jay Gruden was the Bengals OC for three years, all of which they made the playoff's in. 

He might not have been a great head coach, but at least he had success as an NFL OC with Andy Dalton.  There was a reason he got interviewed for multiple head coaching jobs, turned one down and got the WFT gig.  Rivera is a 2x coach of the year and he doesn't done squat with the Redskins either so who knows if he is head coach material or not.

Not some dude that is ECU / position coach.
