Harrell is not a defensive stopper - even though he has an 'intimidating' attitude..

his offensive post game will be something nice to have though.. his energy and vet presence should be welcomed with open arms..

Montrezl is also sort of a local guy, not Charlotte but he's from the Eastern part of the state.

Harrell is a UFA this off-season, Carey’s contract is guaranteed next year. We essentially gained an extra $2M to give to Bridges.

Harrell = $9.7m for the rest of this year
Ish ($4.5 - 2yrs) + Vern ($1.5 - 3yrs) = $6m

Yep. He's from Tarboro. I grew up 30 minutes from there.

Vern Carey needs an opportunity. It's weird he didn't get a better look here. Top 5 in the country out of HS, 18 ppg in 1 season at Duke. 32nd overall pick. I know we're trying to compete, but I wish he could have gotten more burn before we made this call. 18.5 ppg and 8 rpg 2.5 apg in the g league.

Kai Jones is averaging 16.6 pts 11.5 rpg and 1 apg in the g league.

Nick Richards averaged 17 pts 10.3 rpg and 3 blks in the g league.

What Vern did seems to be about average and easily replaceable.
