Matt Stafford, and Wilson were recently traded in consecutive years

Because THEY requested it. Do you really not see a difference? Did either franchise trade away 3 first rounds to replace either of them at 29?

Because the 49'ers are waiting for him to heal from surgery and show he's 100% so he can bring fair value.

The GM is on the record saying he will be fine with it if The Jimmy-G Man comes back and plays for the 49ers again...

They might not have any other option. No one wants to pay that salary to get an average QB. Also I’m going to need some sources showing the Niners are waiting on him to be 100% and they need to be legit ones like you always request.

They are over here comparing Jimmy G to Stafford and Russ.  It's getting as bad as the Sam just needs a good OL crowd.

The Sam needs a good OL crowd is just willfully ignorant. Not even he believes he is capable of being an NFL starting QB anymore.

Lol even Brady was shocked they wanted to keep Jimmy G. At least they realized he is holding them pack and traded up to draft a QB the following year…

We don't know which team it was.  He never said.

Tom Brady:

I think what you realize is, there's not as many smart people as you think. That's just the reality. I think it'd be a no-brainer if you said, 'Hey, you've got a chance to get Wayne Gretzky on your team, or you got a chance to have Michael Jordan on your team.' … 'Oh, we don't need him, no thanks. We're good.'

Brady wanted to play for the Niners. That was his childhood favorite team and he grew up a Montana fan. That’s one of the reasons he was mad they didn’t want him when he was available. The fact they wanted someone as bad as Jimmy G as their starter just made him more pissed about it.

Brady is a free agent looking to return to the Bay Area, looking to play for the 49ers, his hometown franchise and the team he grew up rooting for. But then, once again, somebody tells him that they’d rather roll with Jimmy Garoppolo. This is the guy who just cost the 49ers a Super Bowl victory by overthrowing Emmanuel Sanders. This is the guy Niners coach Kyle Shanahan only trusted to throw the ball eight times in the NFC Championship. The 49ers’ Super Bowl window was closing rapidly, and they passed up an opportunity to snag Tom Brady?!”

You made a statement that good QB's don't get traded or released.  I listed ones that did.  Now you say that you can't keep a  player after they have requested to be traded.  You can.

No one is saying JimmyG is as good as Stafford or Brady. Just because he gets released or traded, doesn't mean he's not a good QB.  He is.

There are several. Here's one:

Back when Brady was a free agent two years ago he wanted to join up with the 49ers. They were his first choice before the Buccaneers ended up winning his favor. Alas, the 49ers elected not to pursue Brady after consideration. They decided that sticking with Jimmy Garoppolo, fresh off of a Super Bowl appearance, was the best move for them going forward.

SI.com

It's one reason why many believe the "y'all are gonna stick with that motherf--ker" comment was referencing the 49ers and Garoppolo.

No one is saying JimmyG is as good as Stafford or Brady. Just because he gets released or traded, doesn't mean he's not a good QB.  He is.

When did I say you can't keep one that has requested a trade?  I said Russ and Stafford were traded because they requested it.  Good QBs don't get put on the trade block randomly.  Russ and Stafford also got to pick and chose which team they were traded to as it was more out of respect for spending a large portion of their career for that franchise and requesting to be traded later in their careers.  Trading 3 first rounds to draft a QB to replace your 29 year starter followed by putting him on the trade block the next year is a totally different situation.

If Jimmy G was good there would be a bidding war for him and the Niners wouldn't be wanting to replace him at age 30.  Stafford, Russ, even Matt Ryan were all traded before the draft and pretty quickly once they were put on the trade block, because that is what happens when GOOD QBs are available.  Jimmy G and Baker Mayfield are both still available because they are simply average or less and teams aren't going to want to give up assets and pay a high salary for a mediocre QB.  As it sits right now the Niners might be stuck with him because there isn't enough interest to equate whatever value they have for him.

Found it.  A deadspin clickbait ranking list of QB's Tom could have been referring to which include Trubisky and Tannehill.

From your own gd article:

https://deadspin.com/who-was-tom-brady-referring-to-on-lebron-s-the-shop-1847159630/slides/2

The only problem is... Brady doesn’t tell us which team/quarterback he was referring to.....So, with that said, let’s throw out some wild theories and take a look at whom Brady might have been (probably) referring to in that brief clip.

Your own article calls it a wild theory.
