First they rank our team 32nd then they say we have the worst starting QB in the league and now the HC that will most likely be fired first?  Why are we always getting treated like some bottom feeder team? Fug

Because Tepper bought the team and then he hired Rhule who should have failed his interview but Hurney was running it and Rhule had meatballs...And here we are. Maybe next time but not yet.

yeah, I don't think the league nor the players probably have tons of respect for Rhule in terms of being good at what he actually does.  I mean, we have seen reporting on that perception.   About the clusterfug perception, the lameduck stigma, etc.

and we started hearing some rumblings reported on in house last year too.

I don't know why you keep pivoting to league-wide perception.  Are we still talking about Rhule's control of our locker room?  Were we ever even talking about that?  Maybe we're arguing two different things here.  Regardless, if I'm to humor this point, why are respectable FAs (i.e. starting caliber guys who could easily have signed elsewhere for comparable money) still choosing to sign with us if Rhule is perceived as this incompetent fool across the league?  That doesn't really make sense on its face.

I truly don't remember any rumblings about an inhouse locker room rift last year.  Do you happen to have a link or anything?  This isn't a "gotcha", I'm genuinely interested in reading it if you can find it.  Because that would have a pretty big impact on my perspective.

A good check is a good check.  It’s just work for a huge percentage of the league.   Rhule being a lameduck coach doesn’t make the money somehow worth less.

Article has been shared countless times.  Joe Person and The Athletic.   It’s a paid article but you can google and find free snippets covered elsewhere.  Same one that said Tepper was embarrassed and unhappy.  Same one that said players were doubting his process.  Rhule was criticized for micromanaging, playing favorites, weak staffing.  People in house calling it a clusterfug.   Same article where Joe also correctly said Rhule still would however not be fired and that would come down to this upcoming season.

2022 is just a predictable bad marriage.  You have to try not to see the writing on the wall. Matt Rhule coming out and claiming Tepper assured him the talk he was already looking at the candidates he believed would be there for 2023 was totally false lol.  Matt Rhule doesn’t even believe that lie.  And again, it’s also been reported he won’t be sad when this failed marriage officially ends. But they all play the game to the public.   The fans are the kids they are pretending the marriage is strong for… just because that is the only play.  But there is just too much smoke that all comes together on it all IMO.

who should have the best odds?

or just merely arguing taking the field is always the safest bet over any one person?

Im going with the thought that the owner didn't just come out and tell people he is safe for this year, he is stating he knows this was going to take at least five seasons. I think he is safe for this year no matter what. If I had to guess who would get fired first I would guess Reich or Rivera if they got off to awful starts.

I think Saleh if the Boy Wonder and all his new toys don't get off to a running start. Not to mention the injection of supposed quality talent on defense.

There was some completely un-sourced pablum spooned out by Joe "Last to Know" Person...

...and a tweet or 2 by perpetually stoned Tre Boston...

...but no, nothing legitimate.

In fact, a long line of active players stepped to to support Rhule & Staff 👊.

Also, just this year our own @musicman who is personally around players & coaches regularly said everyone seems to be 💯 engaged, happy, and working well together...

...all ABOARD 🚂 🚂🚂!!!

    • I'll vote better in the poll, because pressed between either option I don't think we're worse off.  Even if we're worse next year because of you know who, we'll hopefully be in a better spot for 2025 with what was done in this offseason.
    • Eat a healthy diet to help take care of your eyes. Certain foods, particularly those high in vitamins C and E, zinc and omega-3 fatty acids can help protect your eyes as you age. Aim for green leafy vegetables, "oily" fish, beans, eggs, nuts, and citrus foods for best results. Figure out if eye problems run in your family. If so, you need to let your eye doctor know about it. Diseases need to be brought to the attention of your optometrist. The sooner it is diagnosed, the sooner treatment can begin, and that will make a considerable difference. It is very important to protect your eyes from direct sunlight, so make sure to wear sunglasses when you are outdoors or driving. The polarized sunglasses are best since they protect your sight by filtering out the UVA rays of the sun that can cause glaucoma and some other eye diseases. • I mean just on paper, losing Brian Burns and Frankie Luvu.  Maybe Jadaveon Clowney and Josie Jewell have monster seasons and they're even better.  But on paper I'd say we downgraded talent there.  I think they knew the defense would have to take a hit so the offense could be improved.
