I think Baker will do well here. He shaved his contract so he's probably got a gentlemans agreement that if he does well this season we will give him the big bag.

I'm not crazy about it, but its a way better trade than the one for Darnold.  Gave up almost nothing and Baker is better than Darnold has ever been.

Another QB I don't want to see play in a Panther's uni. Whatever gets Rhule fired in the end I guess. I just hope Corral gets significant time over this turd by the end of the season.

Didn’t want him due to $$, but he’s better than any QB on the roster and he’s a Panther now.  Plus, a conditional 5th is so much better than what we gave up for Darnold.  Gives Corral time to get up to speed as well without having to watch Sam play.
