Would be a dumb hire. This team needs a fresh untarnished coach. Someone who actually deserves a head coaching shot, and just keeps getting passed over. Plenty of them that deserves their shot before Frank gets another one.

With no experience and will take time learning how to be a head coach.. No fuging thanks

I hope the Panthers at least interview Shane Steichen if he is available. It appears he is one of the hot names out there to become a future NFL Head Coach.

Shane Steichen enters his second season as the offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles after originally joining the team in 2021.

In his first year with the Eagles, Steichen coordinated the league's most productive rushing offense, as Philadelphia ranked first in the NFL with franchise records in rushing yards (2,715) and rushing touchdowns (25). The Eagles also led the league in explosive plays (163) and ranked fourth in third-down percentage (team-record 45.7 pct.) and fifth in giveaways (16).

Steichen played an integral role in the growth of first-time starter Jalen Hurts, who combined for 3,928 yards and 26 touchdowns. Hurts, one of just eight quarterbacks in NFL history to register 3,000 passing yards (3,144) and 750 rushing yards (784) in a season, also became the youngest Eagles quarterback to ever start in a playoff game. In addition, Steichen guided wide receiver DeVonta Smith to a franchise rookie record in receiving yards (916) and helped Lane Johnson and Jason Kelce earn All-Pro recognition.

Before coming to Philadelphia, Steichen spent the previous seven seasons (2014-20) with the Los Angeles/San Diego Chargers. During that period, he worked alongside Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni.

I have liked Frank Reich since he was drafted by the Bills. (Don't ask me about Jim Kelly. He was a douche but karma has taken its toll on him.) I was ecstatic when the Panthers picked him up off the expansion draft. Thanks, Bill Polian! He was the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles when they won their first Super Bowl title in Super Bowl LII in 2017 so he has a Super Bowl ring and plenty of Super Bowl experience (with Bills and Eagles). His Charlotte roots include serving as president of RTS' Charlotte campus from 2003 to 2006 and a pastor at Ballantyne Presbyterian until he moved to Indianapolis in 2018. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Reich

As smart a man as you will ever find. He needed the right weapons and support in Indianapolis which Isray didn't give him. I would not mind him as our head coach at all. Any head coach hired (offensive, defensive-hey how about special teams like Belichick) will need the right weapons on the team. That's a no brainer.

    • We don’t need the 3rd scoring threat of Jarvis on 1. We need someone like TT that can feed our scoring threats of Guenz and Aho where they need the puck to create high danger. Most particularly Guenz who is not getting good scoring chances at all.    Kuz can feed Jarvis on 2. Drury can feed(and skate with) Necas on 4. And of course 3 is there to do what the Staal line does.    Im just hoping Rod is saving those line combos for the playoffs and hasn’t completely decided not to use them.
    • Sanders will not be on the roster next year. There is an out built into his contract after the second year. Chuba is also playing on the last year of his rookie deal. Either way, RB is going to be a need next year. We might as well bring in depth while it isn't a must instead of shopping hungry next year
    • Officially a Prima Donna. Dude better wake up or his NBA career will be short lived. No one wants to put up with this crap.
