Right. Rhule is their gravy train. I’d stay with him as well, and judging by how they did when with us, that would be smart for them

The warning signs were all around us: "I don't fire my assistants" was the biggest red flag of all-time and he was right, he never fired "his" assistants but had no problem with the outsiders that were actually talented (i.e. Brady being held back by Rhule then scapegoated)

I mean that would be a wise move. Wilks is doing admirably, but he’s still an interim.

 

Rhule will get YEARS at Nebraska to turn the program around. Even if it’s college vs. pro, it’s job security.

I get it. Even in the corporate world, if you have a boss you enjoy working for and have a proven relationship…if they become the CEO somewhere and want to take you with them, it’s always worth a look. Relationships are important.  Sometimes a negative for the company’s best interest, but that just is what it is.
