Meh.

It's fodder for those who are anti-Jackson for whatever reasons.

Bottom line: Barring injury, Jackson's gonna get paid by some NFL team regardless, and the now-deleted tweet will have---uh, I don't know...ZERO bearing on that

Obviously, one needs to control his/her emotions better than he did in this situation, but I don’t think this is a big deal. Definitely shouldn’t and won’t stop a team from offering the former MVP and elite QB a huge contract.

Lmao he's not elite.

He's had one good year and that was still under 4500 yds from Scrimmage.  He only has 10 game winning drives and one playoff win.

Brady does 4000 all the time and his worst years are 3700.

You have shown you’re not consistent with how you rank QBs. I don’t think you’re an individual who can determine whether a QB is elite or not.

Assuming everyone is healthy QBs I take over Lamar if I have a one year rental. So just ability

Not in order

Mahomes

Brady

Rogers

Allen

Burrow

Stafford

Herbert

Carr

Hurts probably

So when you are the 10th to 15th best QB in the NFL you aren't elite.

Elite are the 5 best QBs in the NFL. He has never been top 5.

Didn’t need this list. His MVP says you’re a liar. Again, you have shown to be inconsistent in your judging of QBs.

MVP doesn't mean elite QB.

It doesn't even mean best QB that year.

It means the player most valuable to his team that year. His ONE YEAR.

Every other year has been pretty average.

It's just a fact.

I don’t think your franchise QB looking to cash a big paycheck responding to respectful criticism with a homophobic insult is a very good look.

not only that but it’s a common fallacy that because you don’t play football you can’t possibly understand how that kind of contract can ruin a team

honestly I’d imagine even a somewhat regular fan understands that

Lamar has talent for sure but he would literally be collecting shopping carts if he didn’t

    • Yea regardless of what these people want to argue,  or if you want to say he had little impact or not.  Every qb he has worked with had their best statistical season while he was working with them.
    • Chuba is a good back and we are lucky Matt Rhules wife made this draft pick. But, he is entering the final year of his contract. Plus it’s good to have a solid rotation of backs on hand. I think RB is a sneaky need this off-season, I would be surprised if Sanders was still on the roster this time next year(maybe he turns it around). Even Blackshear will be a free agent, drafting a RB this year sets us up with leverage of not being forced to resign Chuba. The best RB fit in my eyes for a Dave Canales offense, is a quick first step home run hitting RB. Why not pair the most explosive RB in the draft with a creative offensive HC. Plus we could grab Jaylen Wright in the 3-4th round.   If you guys wanna check out the video I made about Jaylen Wright it’s linked below!
    • Canales was there before Wilson as WR coach. He became QB coach in 2018 and in 2019 Wilson had his second team All Pro selection. He was not all pro before that.
