    • Trade Up in Draft to get a Top 4 QB
      25
    • Draft a lower ranked QB
      43
    • Pass on young QBs, re-sign Darnold & address other needs (DE, TE, WR)
      23
    • Pass on young QBs, sign FA QB (Lamar, Brady, Jimmy G, Daniel Jones, Geno)
      9

He had a pass at the start that was almost picked.

He forced a pass late in the game to Tremble (who was well-covered) in the endzone instead of running it in himself for a score (which almost came back to bite them).

Better decisions?

Hardly.

If anything, Wilks took that decision-making aspect almost entirely out of his hands and  just told him "Toss the ball to our RBs.  That's all you have to do".

Absolutely wrong.

Tremble should have caught the ball.

Secondly if you look at it from the endzone view there was a linebacker standing 1/2 yard in the endzone plus Trembles guy 2 yards in the endzone.

He threw it and tremble didn't box out and use his body. All of our TEs phucking suck!

If the right QB is in range draft him.  Resign Darnold as the backup.  Keep Corral as #3.

If the QBs are gone spend these picks getting the best player available.  We still have other needs.  Prepare to spend every asset available to move up to #1 in the 24 draft and get the guy.

If we get that guy the rebuild is complete.  Seriously

I get what you're saying...HOWEVER, if Sam saw what you saw, then he should've made the proper decision and just take it in himself for the Score.

His decision there to force it, wound up ultimately in the Panthers not even getting ANY points and it almost came back to bite them in the ass.

What I'm saying is I don't think he makes it if he runs.

He has to go 5 yards defender has to go 1.

2 more defenders at goaline

2 more defenders pursing from rear left and rear right.

Sam once trucked a Corner on the way to the endzone.

He's had multiple TD runs last season and isn't exactly an easy guy to tackle for a QB.

If there's one thing that lame-brain CAN do well, it's run with the ball.

Best case scenario if this works out.  We would be in the playoffs 100% without a doubt if this were to happen

9. Carolina Panthers: QB C.J. Stroud, Ohio State

The Panthers’ recent investments into the quarterback position (including trades for Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield, and the selection of Matt Corral in the third round of the 2022 draft) shouldn’t stop them from pouncing on Stroud if he falls this far on draft night. The former Buckeyes quarterback has a strong arm and pinpoint accuracy throwing downfield. There are questions about his ability to function out of structure, but he has all the tools to develop into a high-level pocket passer.

Will he still be available by the time the season ended, though?

If we keep winning, he might end up out of reach.

    • Yeah, sports radio here in Seattle think it's on Kubiak to go to the Raiders or stay and have the Ben Johnson path to wherever he wants in '27. There's advantages to both. Go to LV and have Mendoza as your QB1 plus pieces like Jeanty, Bowers/Mayer (12 personnel for Kubiak), and JPJ to add to. Three picks in the top 70, $80M in cap space (I'm sure can be opened up to more...especially if you trade Maxx) and an organization that has top notch resources....and a brand that has a rabid fanbase.  Stay in SEA and look to go B2B next year and have your choice of virtually any team next year. Ben Johnson was wise with his choices and it's paying off. I'm sure Kubiak can relate here, plus if they beat NE, he will be one of the hottest names going into the offseason.  I hope he stays in SEA and Evero goes to Vegas. We get (hopefully) an upgrade at DC and a day 2 draft pick for him. If it's not Kubiak for LV, I think it has to be Evero. I don't see any other candidates. Maybe McDermott? Shula? Seems like EE is the only name mentioned along with Kubiak.
    • He's mentoring Young! He can't develop properly without Dalton! wHy Do YoU wAnT bRyCe To Be A fAiLuRe?
    • Pretty sure Brady left due to the lack of weapons in New England. There were some saying he left because of general disagreements with BB and the way he ran the team. But I think he realized that he couldn't be successful with the team of receivers around him - other than Gronk. BB wanted to give short contracts to everyone not named Edelman.
