As soft as he is he should fit in well in the modern NBA.

Used 3 draft picks on this easily replaceable WR. 2nd 3rd and 6th round picks. Definitely worth it lol.

If he rejoined the Panthers after a 3 year break, he would be the Panthers leading active receiver in career TDs. He only played 4 seasons with the Panthers with Newton and Allen throwing to him.

The WRs have been in a sad state for close to a decade. Way too much draft capital for little to no return.

Finches will be worth more to and NBA team than any Panthers WR or TE is to the Panthers.

Funchess and Benjamin would be upgrades at TE over Thomas, Tremble and Sullivan.

I’m not saying he can’t do it for that he’s not athletic, but the skill gap between him and NBA players is so wide that he is closer to me in terms of skill that he is to the last guy on an NBA bench.

I never saw Funchess as soft. He took some major shots across the middle. My knock was he didn't run good routes. They were always were lazy.
