  1. 1. Are we going up or down headed into the offseason?

Despite missing the playoffs I’m as optimistic as I have been about the panthers since the 2016-17 offseason. No matter what happens in the offseason what is the general trend everyone is feeling about our near future as panthers fans?

might want to try that poll question again, unless that was intentional.

Disappointed about the loss but excited for next year where we'll hopefully have a stud rookie QB in what should be a very winnable division. Weather we keep Wilks or go in another direction it'll be exciting to watch this team compete in the playoffs next year and start to build sustained success.

Not sure how to vote when asked are we going up or down so I voted yes.

Losing today was actually what we needed. We didn’t need to win and get roasted by the Cowboys in the first round.

If we can get the right guy at HC, OC and DC(yeh I know) and find a DE,TE, CB, QB and safety we’re looking good

I really hate to lay this on one part of the team. But we need better corners. Yes, the pass rush wasn’t good today. But Mike Evans didn’t fake anyone out. They just let him stroll right by them. I felt good about Darnold and okay about Wilks. If not for the terrible plays by our corners, we would have destroyed them and Wilks’s plan would have been fine. If Horn played we would have won. I put it all on those three plays. Terrible coverage.

    • As the demand for apartments grows parking is becoming limited and it’s sad. I use to tailgate but I just park at uncc deck now and train in and head to rhino market. My tailgate grill hates me.
    • It simply depends on perspective. CMC, when healthy and on the field, has a higher YPC and YPR than LT. Yes, he's been injury prone, but this is simply a "all quarter-century team." There are certainly different stats and different lists. If this were a list or about a team simply based on longevity, then of course LT wins that every time, but some lists are more subjective and nuanced depending upon what they are, and it's not necessarily a reflection upon a person's ability to analyze sports.
    • From my what I have seen the overwhelming majority of people who are considering the notion a possibility don't really want to see it happen but are considering so for a number of reasons. Most importantly availability. Secondly even when he plays the last few seasons he has been red hot or ice cold. Then there is the subject of his defense which to say the least leaves a lot to be desired. Then there is the image of Ball inactive laughing it up on the sideline (while our team was getting the doors blown off) with previous busts who are now relegated to hanging on by a thread in the g league. I think we should be able to recognize with the team going out of their way to put a very strong emphasis on culture and leadership with the conclusion of this years draft that they expect LaMelo to lead the way this upcoming season and that begins with making significant strides and trending in a positive direction in the aforementioned aspects above. It just has to happen.
