Ive been waiting 20 years for the panthers not to invest prime draft capital on RBs and LBs.

Ill say, finessererererer looks like he understands this....thus far.......

If there is no Luke kuechly or Derrick Henry top RB in draft im not even thinking about it anymore.

Lol, its 5 teams ahead of us that need a QB including Atlanta.

Another 5 teams after us that need a QB.

Matter of fact, it wouldnt shock me if our first four picks were.

First Round: Quentin Johnston/Addison (WR), 2Round:Jamyr Gibbs/Corum(HB)..2Round pick#2: Darnell Washington(TE). 3rd: Hooker (QB).

Let Hooker, Corral and a vet go at it.

If we're still garbage then next year go all in to get Caleb William's in a Panthers uniform..

I would be satisfied with that draft and also satisfied if the Panthers selected Florida QB Anthony Richardson with their 1st rd pick.

Texans, Colts, Raiders and Saints are all looking to grab QBs, Panthers will have to trade up to get one.

Saints can wish and want for the moon and all the stars. They don't have the draft capital to do much since Eagles have their 1st this year. Unless and until they get some compensation for their former coach.

I would be a bit surprised if the Raiders didn't ask the Niners about Jimmy G.

Zach Charbonet from UCLA is the best one available. I don’t give a poo who likes Bijan Robinson.

I only watched a game or two of UCLA's this season, so can't recall Charbonet.

This season once again proved teams don't need highly drafted RBs to be successful running teams. Use those high picks for other positions of need, specifically QB and the lines.

Hey, that Purdy guy is a pretty good QB for the 49ers, where was he picked in the draft last year?

Great point. We can wait on a QB if we simply assemble:

- The league’s best play-caller

- The league’s best defense

- HOF left tackle

- All-Pro wide receiver

- All-Pro tight end

- All-Pro running back

Should be simple enough.

I was wondering when the tank for williams opinion would pop up.

I’m not shocked given how bad the other QB options are all looking right now. I’m just surprised that people are being sensible enough to say Williams instead of obsessing over Drake Maye.

Texans and Colts definitely pick Stroud and Young.

Saints too far away. Moving from 41 to the top 10 will not happen.  Plus Winston and Hill are already under contract and dead cap hits are very large, plus as usual they are 50m over the cap heading into 2023.  Saints are really fugged.  They may pick a qb in round 2 or 3.

Raiders will opt for Garrapolo.  They have a decent amount of cap.

Atlanta also has a lot of cap - they may try for Carr.  They also just drafted Ridder.  I think  they will trade back as they have a number of holes to fill.

Tenn is at 11.  They may want a QB, but Tannehill already costs 36m.  Cutting him is a pretty big dead cap hit and they already deep in the hole in cap space.  Plus they just added Willis.  Need to see him play a bit more before deciding his fate.

Jets at 13 are the wild card.  Late collapse and Wilson suckitude may make them aggressive.  I think they will target Richardson and will trade with Atlanta at 8 to grab him just in case we are interested.

I think we will fall in love for Levis at the combine and he will fall into our lap.

I personally love Levis as a prospect and would be elated if he fell to us.

Absolutely.

Moral of the story:  Get the GM and coaching staff right and suddenly everything else becomes a lot easier.  More to the point, teams with competent leadership don't have to rely on QBs to compensate for a GM's and HC's incompetence.
