Denver being an AFC team probably does make it a little easier.

Ben Albright wasn't a fan of this because he noted that a lot of what makes Payton's system work are some things that Russell Wilson isn't really that good at.

My unsubstantiated prediction which is not based on any rational evidence is that this will fail.  Maybe not Siefert fail but it will be similar.
