Everything comes to an end eventually. Acceptance of the certainty and permanence of what you cannot control can be so difficult. Especially when you have been to the Top.... been the very best.

Time knows no prejudice.

One must embrace and appreciate their own experiences dearly holding that personal meaning as enough. Our moment in time is just that, a moment, to be surpassed by moments that follow.

Live all of your moments.

Like most very successful NFL quarterbacks they play too long and rarely leave on top.  He had several times to retire after winning a Superbowl but always wanted more.  Now he goes out after a decent but not great year and lost his family in the process. Don't feel sorry for him at all.

If Rodgers follows him (or goes to NYJ), how would everyone rank the NFC QBs?

Hurts

Stafford

Dak

Kyler

Cousins

D Jones

Geno??

It's pretty crazy how much of a QB wasteland it could be and quick.  Best be the team to find one sooner than later.

Don't forget Kyler is likely to miss a good chunk of next season after tearing his ACL in late December. I'd probably rank Goff in the top 5 of NFC QBs next year.

Tier 1: Hurts

Tier 2: Cousins / Dak / Stafford (if healthy)

Tier 3: Goff / Geno / Jones / Kyler

Maybe he's gonna do this every February just so he can listen to everyone talking about how great he is, then go back to playing until he gets another Super Bowl win 🤔

And to top it off, we have that damn movie "80 for Brady" coming out, too.  Which I will not be going to see.
