The NFC is very weak at QB. Jalen Hurts and a aging Aaron Rodgers is the best we have to offer. The AFC is loaded at QB this is why I don't think the Ravens are trying to break the bank for Lamar when he is probably the 4th best QB at best in the AFC. We need to go all in on Lamar like we did for Watson. Getting Lamar in Charlotte would be like Cam all over again. We instantly matter in the NFC. We probably the favorites with his addition alone.

 

Offer 3 1st and whatever player the Ravens want.

I would be fine with Lamar is he could stay healthy. But 2 season I a row where he couldn’t finish. 
I just don’t want to throw big money at an often injured QB with no guarantee he can play 17 games.

He is a known, and not a variable like a rookie would be. But, we also have to be able to afford him.

Lamar isn't good enough. If he was good enough the Ravens would have locked him down already.

Lamar wants his contract fully guaranteed. We mortgage our future for him and he gets a career ending injury and you might as well shut it down.

But Lamar has a fair share of injuries and going to cost a whole lot of money which will hinder this roster now while costing a lot of draft capital.

Lamar is a great player and person and teammate.  But giving up draft picks AND guaranteeing a quarter Billion is the way to concrete over the top of our deepening grave.  We are finally on the right path of having some talent and getting a head coach to develop a QB and have a decent stockpile of draft picks.  Work with what we have and keep building.  Avoid shortcuts.
