Panthers Request Interview w/ Evero for DC

Interesting.  Wonder if we'd look at adding an AHC label as well if he's the one.  A pure lateral move seems unlikely.  

Having him on defense with potentially Staley on offense could be the ticket.  Could still land some Philly offensive staff like B Johnson & Jason Michael.

Viking did the same and got turned down, I hope the panthers are able to bypass that horse shiit by stating its for "asst coach" status. I love to add him and hurt the broncos&payton at the same time.

Apparently a lot of times the HC "Blocks" these kinds of interviews it's actually at the behest of the guy the team is requesting. Could very well be that Evero doesn't want to coach up in Minny and he's having Payton run interference.

We will pay him to come here and even though the Vikings had a better record last year our defense would be better to leave a mark on and be able to get a HC gig from in the future. I think he’s a lock to be announced DC in the next few days.
