CJ Stroud's tape is a Pleaseant Surprise

He is the QB we should target IMO. It’s funny I’ve mentioned he can be a Goff to Burrow (obvious best case) and this video compares him to Goff while McCown compared him to Burrow. The pocket issues can be fixed with our staff. He is a smart, accurate thrower who can make all the NFL throws.

This is who I’ve wanted before last season. Although I was scared at what a Matt Rhule staff would do with him, but with the all star staff we have now I don’t care what it takes to move up to #1 to get him I think he’ll be that franchise guy we’ve been waiting for.

Fools! He can only make those reads because he’s on such a talented team he has 5 wide open receivers to choose from every play. Definitely doesn’t have anything to do with his first, second, etc read not being open. And the anticipation throws are just throwing the ball up and his teammates time their route so perfectly it just looks like anticipation.

What’s his arm strength like? I’ve heard everything from he can make every throw to he doesn’t have a big arm. I guess both of those can be true at the same time. I haven’t heard much about him having a cannon, though.

This video compares it to Russ Wilson dropping his deep passes into WR’s arms. Called it his “moon ball.” He also compared it to Jared Goff’s which is a solid NFL arm. Levis and AR have the cannon’s if that’s what you like.

    • So you're telling me there's a chance!
    • Actually, Pesce is not usually our worst defenseman on grade on average and usually is middle of the pack to high on stat card solo.  Something people need to remember is for defensive lines in the NHL over 800 minutes. We take 1, 5 and 9 x goal against per 60. 1, 10, 20 x goal against(skjei/pesce is the 10. 2, 3, 11, x goal. Individually, Pesce is second on the team in blocks and per 60 it’s a country mile. Has a 5.8 x goal despite having little offense. TDA is a 1.8. Pesce also has our least amount of defensive zone giveaways with 14. To put that in perspective he has 18 give away in 1400 minutes, Orlov has 17 defensive zone giveaways in the same amount of time(36 total). TDA has 14 giveaways with 8 defensive zone giveaways in 440 minutes.    TDA and Pesce are not the same. Y’all give Pesce far too little credit to how well he plays in rods system.
    • If it is a player that we know we would like a 5th year option, it could be wise to do so.  However, the trade would have to be with KC or SF, imo--and they would be losing the fifth year option.  I do not think the odds are 20%--I would say 10%, based only on my hunches.   This is the "F YOU, FITTERER!!!" Draft.  Last year was the "F YOU, PANTHER FANS!!" Draft:
