So... Common Sense Says We're Drafting Stroud... Right????

I don’t know why people think we are going to take AR #1. Remember last year people, including the media was hyping Willis as the top qb in the draft…. He ended up going in the 3rd round. We are going for Young Or Stroud. I would think we would go for young. If young was  just a few inches taller then he would be hyped as one of the best qb prospects of all time. You really think being a little short is going to make that big of a difference? No, it didn’t affect Brees, Wilson or Murray. Todays NFL protects the QB enough to not to worry about his size.

Saints fans seem to think we will go after AR or Young. We already know Stroud will be our guy at QB and after draft we need to build around him in FA.

Gonna be interesting what comes out of pro day for all 4.
I predict a lot of fluff articles saying how impressed we are with every one.

Stroud is definitely a better pure passer than Young, only advantage Young has over Stroud is scrambling and running around in the backfield. He’s still really good but Stroud is an incredible passer

Bingo!! You summed it up rather nicely.

His height isn't as big of a problem as his weight/build.

The kid is a twig, he's not going to hold up in the NFL, particularly as the defensive players just keep getting bigger and faster, guy will be broken before his second contract.

I'm confused on how this helps the Panthers. Yes we get the #1 pick,  we will draft a new QB. But who is the QB going to throw too? McCaffrey is gone and traded Williams, oline is ok. Only good players left is RB Foreman and WR Marshall. Looks like the Jets/Zach Wilson scenario. I'm confused on how this helps the Panthers. Yes they get #1 pick, presumably they will draft a new QB. • Smitty and Lance Zierlein see eye to eye on the top four, then they start diverging a little bit. It's an hour and 18 minutes.    Link only (due to NFL content.) https://youtu.be/LDzLS0viRX4?si=P5JkRNA8eqevnpHc Again, if you like hearing about receivers, give it a listen. I know at this point that it's easy to get overwhelmed and/or simply tired of too many opinions. That being said, I found the discussion about some of the receivers pretty interesting.  Tidbits: Both have Nabers WR1, but you can't go wrong with Harrison or Odunze. Smitty has Ladd at 8, Zierlein at 5. Smitty has Worthy at 5. Sixth is AD who needs to work on route running. Zierlein said two ex-receivers that Smitty knows have expressed concerns (and, just guessing, it could be Keyshaun & Irving). Legette is 9th. Which Legette are you getting? Many of these receivers, including Odunze will have to play in specific roles for them to shine.  Pearsall is 14th. He can play outside but eats in the slot.   The most interesting thing to me about watching these many analysts is that they all agree that where a guy is drafted and how he is deployed absolutely matters. It can make or break careers. Sure, you have some guys that can do it all, but those aren't as prevalent as we'd like to think, that's why putting guys in the best situations to succeed is so crucial. At the same time, you may not even know all the guy can do based upon the offense he was in on the collegiate level, so you at least have to explore the possibility that he can do more. Coaching is so important.
    • I never tried HGH but tried a number of different gear related items over the years to include, test cypionate, test enanthate, sustanon, equipoise, masteron, primobolan, anavar and winstrol and damn sure enjoyed all of them. I heard a lot of good on HGH but also some bad. They sure do help in the short term over a number of years but when the playing days come  to an end you end up regretting all that stuff when you get past your 20's and into late 30's and early 40's. I would most definitely advise Bryce to avoid at all costs even if it means him losing his career. Gear is a silent killer and it slowly takes years off your life. Nearly killed me years later. He needs some good nutrition, some hard weight training and some explosive training on a field and I bet Bryce would very much have improved performance on game days. Drew Brees while taller than Bryce by a little was in fact very strong for his size and trained very hard for that strength which I believe helped him to be who in my opinion could possibly be tied for the best QB ever. Bryce needs to get on the Drew Brees training and nutrition plan.
