From Mike Kaye, Charlotte Observer

A Dalton

Age: 35

Experience: 12 seasons

Production: 83-77-2 record as starter — 38,150 passing yards, 244 touchdowns and 144 interceptions

Following a strong career as a starter in Cincinnati, Dalton has been a nomad spot-starter for the past three years. From Dallas to Chicago to New Orleans, Dalton has started as a backup before inevitably making his way into the starting lineup. Dalton understands his place in the league, but is still highly competitive and capable. He could be an excellent option for a rookie quarterback to learn from.

Bro, what WR & TE combo do you think you're getting for $4m? (He has $8m guaranteed over 2 years so that's $4m per)

This signing does not preclude the Panthers from picking up a vet WR or TE and the bridge QB signing is vitally important. If you haven't heard, the only two WRs that have signed so far are Allen Lazard and Jakobi Meyers. I don't think any TEs except the Saints guy signed? And we're most likely taking a WR or TE at 39.

Patience.

Yore right it was mainly dreaming.

Thought they could land a clark for around 7per on a long contract so the first year was low 3.

Sign one out of the top 5 TE group, same 6 year contract trick and get the first year around 3 million.

90-95% of the time, if a team loses its starting qb, the team is in trouble.

In the event the startinq QB is out for a spell, Andy Dalton is good enough to carry the team, within reason, until the starter returns.

A pocket passer to mentor the rookie pocket passer. Stroud is gonna thrive here once they get WR/TE figured out.

Stroud: 6’3 218

Dalton: 6’2 220

Yep, I know it’s a reach but I couldn’t help but check out and see if there was a size similarity there too.
