Scrambled pocket passer. Any NFL DC can take that away what will he do next? He's not Kyler. Ohhhhhh, he's going to learn how to run in the open field in the NFL with hawks and owls?

You guys are more crazy than those trying to explain just why there are prototypes and why AR is much safer at #1 than BY because of the Cam Newton model WE already put forth as a franchise in the NFL.

BY isn't even Kyler, can't run the rock. This frame, type of player, hasn't been done before.

6'5" 240+lbs, running like a deer, trucking like a Mack, throwing over mountains, THAT has been done before. We have a NFC Championship to prove it.

Go big or GO HOME.

So you want your QB to sacrifice themselves meeting LBs in the open field instead of picking defences apart with their arm ok cool.

Not like CJ did this past year. And there’s plenty of footage of CJ moving around to miss tackles or extend the play but the rep here is he is a statue. It’s whatever

I've looked at several analyses, and Young is a better tight window thrower than CJ is a scrambler, inside or outside the pocket. C.J. is the best pure thrower in the draft, and that is his claim to fame. It's no small thing, but he's closer to just an average guy pertaining to pocket awareness and the ability to extend plays. Bryce does not have an issue with throwing from the pocket or throwing into tight windows. That's not a weakness of his in the slightest.  I don't see why anyone that's actually been researching these guys would have a problem with admitting these things.

He isn't fast enough to outrun anyone.

What?

Just because you aren't as fast as Lamar Jackson doesn't mean you aren't fast enough to outrun a good amount of defenders.  And it isn't like Bryce's game was dependent on outrunning anyway.  He makes people miss with his ability to cut on a dime, which absolutely translates to Sunday.

"Quarterbacks with similar draft profiles like Josh Allen and Justin Herbert (official ripp bandwagon player)have been huge successes, so taking a risk here is tantalizing considering both these recent anecdotes and the fact that there’s no consensus franchise prospect this year like an Andrew Luck or a Trevor Lawrence."

"But Richardson is more than just a physically-gifted fixer-upper. He’s consistently shown some high-level quarterback play on film and is more refined than most people think. He generally does a good job of getting through his progressions and throwing with anticipation, and his pocket movement is already very good, especially for a 21-year-old. The results haven’t been there, though, and that’s largely due to issues with accuracy."

I don't think he wants a QB using his brain. He wants them to bulldoze everything.

He has blockers and field vision and Cam was underappreciated for learning a sweet baseball slide nobody cared to even notice. AR can work on that right away.

If Corral looks good, run him until AR is ready. If Corral looks great, AR is QB2 this year, one play away.

Same exact playbook because they're similar aside from accuracy at the moment both big arms, both can run the rock and punish defenses doing so.

Guess who else threw a pretty ball when everything was in sync but also had reports of being hard to coach Josh Rosen

Corral took 2 steps and got hurt with an injury history following him from college and your here running down Young about injuries that might happen

    • What?!?!?! Chark's 1,000 yard season was 4 years before he played for us and he only had 525 yards in 15 games as our #1 WR.  Dude has 3,100 yards in 7 seasons, he's the literal definition of a JAG and you think he is better than half our current WR room? T-Mac is literally already better than Chark was at his peak, which again, was years before he ever even put on a Panthers uniform, and there is a real argument to be made that XL and Coker were both better as rookies than Chark was for us in his one season here.
    • Im glad we're starting low. It's nonsensical to put us at 28 IMHO based on objective things IMHO (I think 21-24) is far more appropriate but whatever. Washington was at the bottom last year FWIW.  In 2003, Sports Illustrated said our best chance to win the division was to transfer to the ACC. In 2015, everyone wrote us off as a team that snuck into the playoffs with a losing record in 2014 and lost our best WR in TC (Kelvin Benjamin). All these videos are fodder for conversation, but this prediction has no more validity than saying the Panthers are making the SB bc we're starting the season against the Jaguars again. If Bryce plays like he did down the stretch we will end up the season just fine. This roster is much better than it has been the last 2 seasons. No one knows who any season will ultimately end up, but this team is finally being built in the right way, and the idea that this roster can't compete this year is as insane as being it was when we were gaslit in 2023 that we were a rookie QB from winning the division with that roster.
