Panthers invite XFL player to mini camp

Recommended Posts

I was like, "Where have I heard that name before?" Then, @rodeo posted the Texans video, and I was like, "Oh yeah, this is a guy that I had put on my watchlist for fantasy purposes that never broke out despite being supposedly talented and so much bigger than everyone else."

As for being a red zone threat, I've heard that before too. Bill gave up on him (not O'Brien, who gave up on him too, the other one):

Sorry, guys, I can't get excited until I consistently see something excited to get about. I'd rather try Ebron.

NEGATIVES

—Position changes led to him being behind in terms of fundamentals at tight end.

—For being a massive tight end, he doesn't play or test strong (16 reps on the bench press).

In 4 years bouncing around the NFL and XFL with professional trainers, these shouldn't still be issues. Let's see what he's got.
