On a recent appearance on the “I Am Athlete” podcast, free-agent WR DeAndre Hopkins listed the five QBs he’d most like to catch passes from: the Bills’ Josh Allen, the Eagles’ Jalen Hurts, the Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, the Ravens’ Lamar Jackson and the Chargers’ Justin Herbert.

At this point in his career, signing with a playoff/SB contender like KC or Philly or the other teams mentioned makes sense.

Was Proehl a “JAG” here? Because Thielen will be a similar vet presence but with even more talent and production. Very valuable to have that here with a young QB and young receivers.
