Brady Christensen's back on his feet, back to work

A speedy rehab for Corbett will be a key to how solid the Panthers OL will be at seasons start.

I think we have the luxury at the moment to not rush Corbett back. Clearly, it would be better to have him out there, but between Cade Mays and Zavala, I don't feel like we need to hurry him back. Let him take the time to heal up fully.

i have to say i do like the idea of those two guys getting plenty of reps and even playtime to get them experienced and gelling with everyone. starters have to have the most time playing together, but backups need to get in on the chemistry too.

I'm interested to see if Zavala ends up starting next to Icky and Brady moves over next to Moton until Corbett comes back or if they're going to look to continue with Brady at LG and filling in at RG until Corbett is cleared.

Great opportunity for Mays/Zavala. They'll be stuck between Bozeman and either Icky or Moton. Not a bad position for a rookie interior offensive lineman to be in.

Not bad for Bryce either as he's going to have an offensive line with depth throughout it protecting him. I'm sure Miles Sanders isn't displeased either.

This is a building year, but for once I think we've built a good o-line. Last year's was the best we'd had in seven or eight years, so if we can improve on that the sky is the limit.

I know it's really old school but I just still believe that the game is won and lost along the offensive line and you can't have a good offensive line without a smart guy at center. Bozeman has really filled the bill for that one, he really brought that group together last season.

It feels amazing to finally, after close to 10 fuging years, having some oline depth

I'm not saying this to jinx the team, but on paper at least, this is one of the few times in Panther history that I think we could lose a starter, and possibly two, for a significant part of the season and not have it result in a catastrophe for the offense.

This could be the best OL and depth the Panthers have had for a very long time.

It could not come at a better time, considering the max protection the Panthers will want to give rookie  QB Bryce Young.

At guard yes. At tackle not so much

I hope Zavala can emerge as a starter. I think Christensen's best role for us might be as a very versatile OL reserve. I honestly this his best natural position is probably LT he just lacks the measurables to play that role as a starter in the NFL.

This times one million. If we can keep a cohesive offensive line this year (and next year) the sky is the limit. We will be competitive this year, but next year watch the F&$k out. Calling it now, next year should be a deep playoff run. This year it is competing  for the conference title.
