Football Night in America

It has happened more in the past 4 weeks, and really later in games.

I think the distribution in carries has been well done.

IMO it cost may have cost them the NY game, and came close to costing them today. Like I said spelling Williams is fine, but bringing in the Stewart package two series in a row in a shoot out or in a crucial OT possession doesn't make since to me. I know Stewart is going to be a good pro, but right now he doesn't bring what Williams does to the table. The offense seems to stall with Stewart is featured lately.

Hey totally off subject here....but if.... mean WHEN we make it to the Superbowl.....is anyone going to Tampa???? I booked my hotel room last weekend, I don't have tix yet, but I am still going to go tailgate, anyone else going????

If we make it, I'll be going. I'll worry about tickets and hotels after it's confirmed we made it.

Start looking for hotel room NOW!!! I had to go 27 miles from Raymond James Stadium to find a room.........well, I could of had a holiday inn room for $550 a night! but i refuse! that takes away from tailgate money!!;)

It is always nice to hear good comments about the Panthers.....My main question about Football Night in America is...why is Jerome Bettis' hair painted on....I mean it is like someone took a permanent marker and drew him a hairline.

Bettis was saying DeAngelo is the best player in football...and I just drift into...wow his hair is so perfect like...it is DRAWN ON??!! WTF?! It is hypnotic...it controls you...it can sense your fear.

    • frank, that ball was very catchable where it hit his hands. I don't even think he bent at waist until after he dropped it. He actually slows his pace to position himself to catch the ball. That will never be a pass I'd blame on the QB.   NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-54-54.mp4
    • https://overthecap.com/position/left-guard   Lewis is the 9th highest paid Left Guard in the league. I bet it was higher when the deal was done two years ago.    https://overthecap.com/position/right-guard Hunt #3 highest Right Guard   There is a tab in the upper left portion of the graphic that allows looking at the different positions.
    • It was a great play, but a better catch than throw. The TE boxes out Moehrig for position. Jumps to catch the ball. Catches it and turns 180 degrees while he's still in the air. Comes down and toe taps to stay in bounds and lunges for the goal post. That first part where he boxes out Moehrig for the ball is huge. If he doesn't do that and simply fades back to catch the ball (this is why Bryce doesn't trust XL), then Moehrig likely undercuts the pass for a break up or INT. Stafford trusts his receivers to make plays for him. Here I slowed it down so you can see it. Great play but amazing catch and score by the TE.  NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-45-32.mp4 NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-44-37.mp4
