Can someone explain what happened in Chi/Wash game?

I have been unpacking all day just moved back into my house after a remodel.

Fields threw it to D.J. Moore several times during the first half and put Washington in a hole. Washington began to push for a comeback in the second behind a gritty Howell. Fields went to Moore again and iced the game in the 4th quarter. Game over!

I don't think some get what's being said here.

The average NFL qb can throw a football 50 yards and at speeds of around 40 mph. Which is the arm strength that Bryce has.

Top end arm strength in the NFL is 50-60 mph.

One qb has thrown faster than 60 mph at the combine, DTR at 62. Just to put that in reference for everyone. Most top out around 57-60 mph.

Cousins and Kapernick are at the high end of that mark hitting 59-60 mph.

Watson was 45mph, included for reference point as well.

it's ok that Bryce has an average arm... nothing wrong with that at all.

Fields had a decent game last week. Maybe he's finally getting his confidence back.

I mean, that's what we were talking about, specifically revisionist history. But the Huddle is gonna Huddle.

It honestly blows my mind that you can watch Bryce in the NFL and be willing to die on this hill.

If he has NFL average arm talent he hasn't shown it yet. I welcome him showing it but I'm not gonna sit here and delude myself prior to that occuring.

BY skipped the combine so you can't assume he's even average

Dorian Thompson-Robinson UCLA 55 (Left) 58 (Right)

CJ Stroud Ohio State 54 (Left) 56 (Right)

Bryce Young Alabama - did not throw

    • D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently.  oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform.  would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset.  Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.
    • I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
    • I trust Morgan when it comes to LBs so I think Wallace will do well.
