who would yall wanna play in the playoffs

i would not wanna play the dirty birdies because that michael turner scares me. so does that passing game and that's the panthers weakness. matt ryan is a rookie but he's playing beyond his years on top of that there a division foe, they always play us hard in the regular season so playing them in the playoffs makes it even harder.

it's kinda a toss up between the cards and vikings because our defense is dredful against the pass and the cads, that's all they do. i think we do better against the run so if we can shut down A.P. and force jackson to pass we got a way better shot at winning against the vikings.

so in my opinion the vikings are our best shot at getting back to the chip. and they stole a W from us earlier this year.

of course it's easier said the done: jus ma two cents though what yall think

I am also worried about Arz passing. but if you look back over the history of the Panthers, we seem to make average and poor QB's look like pro bowlers so that leave out Minn

so I think the best of the poison would be Atl, we know what we are getting with them. I feel better about playing them at home.

I want to play any team from the AFC, and I don't care who we need to go through to get there.

I don't see any of our NFC options winning at BofA. It's all going to go down to how much better our defense plays with Kemo when we face the Giants again.

Give me Arizona since they have no running game. If the Panthers defense allowed Warner to throw for over 400 yards, then they'd deserve to be knocked out of the playoffs. I think the Panthers' running game is better now than it was first time they played Arizona, and that could limit the amount of opportunities the Cardinals offense would have, to begin with.

Atlanta, I hate Matt Ryan, and I'd want to see the Panthers win that game more to disappoint his ESPN groupies than just so they could advance to the Championship Game. That would make me especially jumpy, tense, and irate during a matchup with the Falcons. I don't want that stress. I don't want to get banned from this site during that game, either, so I'd prefer the Panthers play someone other than the Falcons...for my sake.

Vikings. Where that idiot Jackson wouldn't scramble against the Falcons two weeks ago, and instead just stood around like a fool and got sacked all day, I think the Vikings would study tape of Mike Vick against the Panthers, and Jackson would run on the Panthers defense all day long. Combine that with Adrian Peterson, and they could potentially rush for over 250 yards against the Panthers. Difference is Jackson throws it better than Vick ever did. I think that could be a surprisingly tough game for the Panthers. Probably tougher than the Falcons because you know Ryan's not going to run. Jackson will in this game, based on the Panthers' troubled history against scrambling QBs (Mike Vick). Hopefully the Eagles will take care of the Vikings, because I don't want to face them.

So, I want to play the Cardinals and the Eagles, which would require the Eagles knocking out the Giants. Philly would be tough, but it would be a home game, so that's a fair trade.

    • if  ANYONE actually goes & looks at the FACTS on rookie Qb's after 2 full seasons as a starter in the NFL & they are still well below average do they rarely ever actually become top tier Qb's & instead most likely either do not recieve a second contract & or become life long backups...just saying
    • So he became GM and decided not to address the weakness in the QB room following one of the worst rookie QB performances in NFL history?  There were options last season other than signing Dalton to a 2 year deal. Brissett and Jones by a wide margin, both of whom outplayed Bryce, Wilson, Winston, hell even Rivers off the couch was more exciting at the QB position. The time to address the failure in the QB room was last year but instead people on the Huddle cheered when we brought Dalton back then cheered when we were able to get anything for him after they finally realized he was washed up like a few of had been saying all along and got poo'd for even mentioning.  This year, the options were more limited obviously, especially since we lost Icky. It changed the dynamic of our draft. I think we were stuck this year keeping Bryce, but i still think giving him a 5th year option for what has amounted to replacement worthy performance was the wrong move. Why guarantee 25m if you're planning to replace him? You think he's going to want to be a bridge QB? Hell no. He's going to want out and we'll end up cutting him if he has another lackluster season because no one is trading for him with that price tag.  Were there better options as far as production available. A couple. Were there guys available with more physical tools than Bryce, Pickett or Grier, you damn well better believe there were. I've been saying all along, you always keep looking for your 1b. Bryce has yet to prove he can be a starter. Keep looking for someone who may. Put competition in camp. Let the best QB lead the team. Stop settling for less than mediocre.
