I heard yall wanted Bryce to bulk up this offseason

Recommended Posts

Bryce has lanky dude bod. When relaxed, he's never going to look like he has much. When muscles are activated, he'll look jacked. It's fine.Ā

Ā

Dude definitely been lifting though. Good.Ā

Can anyone verify this photos authenticity no way Bryce came back looking like a professional football player. Footwork and fundamentals are still the focus but I like this added muscle it was needed. I commend my QB for trying.

I don't think he added much muscle mass, but he's probably gained 5 lbs, just based on this and his pressers.

I just want him to play like an NFL QB. He's always gonna be significantly undersized. No one will care if he plays well.

Look at his muscly arm buddy donā€™t be afraid to admit you want to touch itĀ

    • The reality is that Hubbard will want to hit the market. He should maximize his contract. We shouldn't be the team to do that. Given that we cannot go back in time the best thing is for Brooks be be the guy in the following years.
    • Ward's throwing reminds me a little of Lamar.Ā  He looks comfortable back there and is a gunslinger.Ā  No moment appears to big and he looks like the leader in the huddle.Ā  He is athletic enough to beat some pressure and extend plays (obviously no where near Lamar's level).Ā  Like most gunslingers he will amaze you with one play and frustrate you with another.Ā  He trusts his arm a long.Ā  His arm looks plenty strong to me (yeah not Allen or Mahomes, but solid).Ā  He also has a lot of experience throwing the ball.Ā  They threw a lot at WSU and he had solid numbers there (high TO ratio though).
    • if canales wants to run the run heavy play action offense he envisions, and if a rookie qb...or *gulp* bryce young is put under center next season, the panthers need 2 good backs. they need to duplicate the same run dominance as double trouble, foreman/hubbard, or even davis/foster. the offense has shown a lot of light the past few weeks, but miles sanders is the bottleneck. hubbard has been a breath of fresh air the past couple of seasons, and he's earned his spotlight...but at best, he is a stopgap rb1 backĀ on any roster.
