I see him as a top 5 QB in this class. Heck, he might even be a top 2 guy in this class. But, that just shows how weak this QB class is.

Exactly. The announcers are desperately trying to give him credit but that ball was deflected by the defender. Ewers wasn't even looking at the receiver who ended up catching it. I don't even think he knew he was there. He wasn't trying to get it to that guy. I have no idea what he was trying to do other than maybe just avoid the sack but it was 3rd down anyway so again... WTF are you doing???

Texas ties the game 14 - 14 late in the 3rd quarter!!

I'm still upset PSU lost. Dumb ass Drew Allar threw the game away with that INT late in the 4th. They could've literally just let Tyler Warren or one of the running backs run the option until they kicked a field goal to win with time expiring. 

I'm not a PSU fan. If anything I may have been a Colorado fan the past 2 years lol. The team I want to win now is probably Texas.

Drew Allar was ass in that game. He lost that game for PSU and I'm not just talking about that INT. The man literally didn't complete a single pass to a WR. That is mega ass.

      I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.

      I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.

      I don't really follow the team anymore due to a variety of reasons and consequently have largely stopped posting but I agree that this is a lovely website and community. This forum probably kept me around for years longer than I would've stuck otherwise because of how difficult it was to stop checking multiple times a day. Especially appreciate how lax the moderation tends to be compared to a lot of places, the crew here does a great job. Out of curiousity I decided to try making a new account (solely for testing purposes) to see what exactly is wrong with the sign up process. The issue seems to be that it never sends you an account verification email, thus making it impossible to complete registration. This is likely something to do with the email server upstream, hope it gets fixed. Also, lol
