They should ditch preseason and early season polls. Honestly the first poll should come out mid-season. Too many highly ranked teams stay there no matter what. Texas has zero wins this year over ranked opponents so why were they ranked #2? What did they do to earn that other than being a unanimous top 5 preseason team?

I am about putting the best teams in, and if you can't make it to your conference championship game and you're not very high rated, why should you go?

What was Texas' rating before the championship game? That tells you about their season.

Zero ranked opponents. Two unranked losses. No argument for them to get in.

Yeah, I'm for leaving out the bubble teams with very obvious flaws. Milroe is just too limited as a passer to win three games against playoff caliber teams. Just not gonna happen. I'd love to see Cam Ward against a playoff caliber team but let's be real, Miami's D is gonna give up 40+ and they're gonna lose so why bother?

      Renfrow is just sort of a 1 of 1 on the roster.  No real comparable.  If you ask him to play like others he will be lesser.  You have to want to do what he does.  That was never the Canales O nor did it suit with Bryce.  I think there usage/development of Jimmy Horn has really stunk.  It's like they had one gimmick and then that was it.  Outside of that really random ball he caught early on.  But, scheming up gimmick Jimmy Horn plays is probably a bad use of a pass down given what our O is.  Really just need to keep it basic.  Progression should be Tmac, Coker and probably RB in the pass game as the big 3 pass options.

      I love college football and generally enjoy it even more than the NFL but it is undeniably a mess right now with this NIL and transfer portal stuff and the whole ND thing is just beyond absurd. I know NFL fans bitched about the Pats for years and then the Chiefs for years about how they got special treatment but honestly most of that was just about the media and announcers dick riding them and a perceived friendly call here and there. They didn't get to not have to play in a conference, have their own special individual rep to lobby in their behalf when no other team does, nor literally get special clauses just for them to create a different standard for qualifying for the playoffs versus the standard for everyone else. And ND fans really have the nerve to take about a bias against ND? Well, no poo. If you don't hate ND you're not paying any attention.
