Tepper is making ALL decisions

Recommended Posts

You know that trade from the ravens was brought to Tepper. Today was the final nail in the coffin that convinces me that Morgan makes no decisions until Tepper approves or tells him what to do.

Bryce being drafted, Ron being fired. Cam fired. Cam rehired. Rhule. Not wanting to hire Wilks full time. Baker. Sam. Hiring Frank. Firing Frank after 11 games.

the organization is toast with Tepper. Tepper is a micromanager and is BAD at football. It’s the only reason the team is worse every year under his leadership. 2 wins last year. We won’t win but 1 game this year!  Stop showing up and giving your money to him. Money is the only thing he knows and when people stop showing up, he will sell.

Why do you make me defend Tepper?

The team is just ass. That's it. That's all it is. Stop trying to pepe silvia this poo and blame Tepper for a trade for a WR who consistently quits on routes and refuses to run block.

I know. I had this in progress:

I know this will get me mistaken as a Tepper fan, but I am not. Really, I don't want to harm him or see harm come to him; but I am not a fan and would be happy to have never heard of him. Better off.

But man, people have the scouts reporting to Tepper. I guess I should thank people for the laugh. Because I did need one

Whether anyone likes Tepper shouldn't even be a question.

That Burns stuff was 2.5 years ago now or something though.

We traded a disgruntled WR in what was really a pretty minor transaction. I don't want to insult Diontae because I like him when he wants to play. He is a good WR. Can be.

But it is like, a little sideshow compared to the main attraction that I know people are sick of talking about. And that is now in play pretty hard but we gotta go with this?

Zero evidence any of this is Tepper. I am sure he is made aware and has ability to veto a move, but this trade is all Morgan

Yeah, that's right. And Canales. And Diontae for that matter. It turned into a problem.

Is your source your fee fees?

Why is it so hard to understand that this team is just absolutely poo right now due to the past 7 years of poor asset management, bad contracts, and bad drafting? Yes it was all under Tepper's watch, but I seriously doubt he is pulling the strings on a trade to send an average WR away on a contract year while two rookies showing promise are playing harder and won't cost an arm and a leg to extend immediately?

100% fee fees. This place is absolutely ridiculous with speculation and rhetoric. And then it gets repeated so often people start taking it as fact. It’s been happening since long before Tepper got here.

So here’s where I get weird…er.

Hypothesis A: T is pulling ALL the strings… probably not ALL.

Hypothesis B: T pulling NONE of the strings. No sane person would say this.

Therefore: T has to be I pulling at least SOME of the strings. No evidence is needed for this conclusion because it just makes sense. To what extent  he exerts is where the opinions vary.

The access this team gives the media is pretty limited so evidence of malfeasance is hard to come by. Everything we get is a 3rd hand account at best. Every former coach has been completely mum so I’m sure a strong no disclosure is in the contract and no one wants to cross T in the legal arena.

Dionte I’m not really upset about. We got something. There’s obviously damaged goods going on with him so whatever.

I just want to win some football games.

Wilks’ stare would have cut Bryce in half like a laser. He wouldn’t have ever agreed to being tied to Young.

Yes, I am with you on that. Would not have happened. I'm not sure starting a rookie QB would have happened, or how any of that would have played out. It is clear that we need new blood at QB if we could get it and Wilks wouldn't deny that.

In the end on him I have to concede that what I know of who he got for the OC and DC I wouldn't have been real excited.

    • Jameis has more experience. But while Jameis has always had dicey decision making at best he's always had that big play home run potential at any given moment. Fair or not we're still waiting to see that from Bryce. And that's what separates the two of them as first overall picks. No offense or disrespect to anyone else but as a Panthers fan who has seen a lot I don't consider that a sample size compared to the whole body of work but that's just my opinion. We're talking 25 total games. To me a true sample size will be the last 4 games paired with the remaining games on the schedule. If Bryce can sustain consistency throughout that whole stretch then we have something to build on. But  I refuse to deal in these hopes revolving around 4 games or less. Seen it with Kyle Allen. Seen it with Teddy Bridgewater. And realistically we can name any number of QB's who have strung together a handful of impressive games but ultimately faded back to the norm. We will have to wait and see which category Bryce lands.
    • Would definitely resign Jackson and the kicker and punter and Jansen.  The rest meh.  Definitely resign Wonnum, Horn and on the fence with Moton if he costs a lot.
    • The Texans were no better with Diggs than last year - 95% of their success has been the draft.  Diggs is their 2nd WR.  And the Eagles were a playoff team before they got AJ Brown.  They drafted Hurts, Devonta Smith, Goedert, Miles Sanders, the entire defense.  It is wild to claim a single WR FA changed a team that much.
