"Just $3 mil," you say. I don't understand why anyone would be upset about incentives. There is a reason they're there: to motivate and bring out the best in a player. I agree with you that we could've saved ourselves roughly $2.5 mil, at least, but it's certainly more risky to gamble on "potential," than to just pay for someone who has already proven themselves to be legit in the NFL. That being said, I'd have probably gambled. But I'm not overly concerned with the contract. There are more interesting things to talk about.

If you play FF you know how valuable it is to have a nice stack of RBs in the stable. Last season I was starting 3rd string nobody's because of how shallow the market was.

Lol. I guess people didn’t watch him at SCar he wasn’t’ bad. He was a starting SEC back it is usually a decent bet. Better bet thanSanders was  

 

But anyone that says thay saw him doing what he did those two games and beating out Chuba hands down is lying.

When i watched him in Dallas last year I said the dude was special then and i also came right on here and said I would love to pick him up. But he has been even better than what thought he would bring.

He had 1k yards last year even when McCarthy stubbornly stuck with Zeke Elliott for most of the first half of the season. At worst, it was a high floor signing for very little money.

I would make signings like this every season before extending or using any  significant draft capital
