Is Smith ready?

I was just wondering if you guys think Smith will be 100% by week one. Do you think he'll have some catching up to do as far as getting in game shape? I don't mean in shape as compared to the other guys, but I mean in shape compared to the Steve Smith we all know. I recall him saying that he was pretty limited and that being in shape was his biggest concern. I know the arm will be ok but I hope his jets can go full thrust from the get go.

I mean he is running drills now right?

    • Right! the defense is stacked and literally one LB away from being one of the best defenses in the league. The talent is there and Im a firm believer that you build in the trenches. I believe the best way you help Bryce out is giving him time and that means get a OT.
    • Yet you want a WR of which only Tate is projected as a year 1 starter. The WR in our range are depth.
    • We need a tackle but we need to take one that we think can be what we need after a year of development. If that player isn't available at a particular early draft spot, don't reach. Take the stronger positional value instead. We have multiple needs across this team. I think we could address the position in the draft but only if we address it wisely. Don't take one just to take one. If we don't take a tackle, at least take a center. We don't need to leave the draft with at least 1 offensive lineman. I'd prefer 2. Starting caliber center and a tackle that can at least be a RT, and possibly a left. We need to get this offensive line back to a more even place of rookie contracts with veteran contracts to get the cap spending under control.
