Clausen got concussion

The play was over, forward progression had stopped... I don't know what jackass ref didn't blow the whistle, they should have. They certainly were quick to jump the gun when Charles Johnson striped Blount. They blew that play dead before Blound even hit the ground... Same goes for the penalty against Beason, the reciever had a hold of his jersey pulling Beason to him because Beason was going to pick Freeman off, Beason gets the call... Thank the refs for the win... otherwise would there would have been a better game.

Wow....yet another homer that doesn't understand the rules.

The refs didn't blow the whistle because they wanted to give you guys a chance to get a second push and make it across the goal line. If you're going to whine about the calls and how the game would have been closer, you might want to realize that the Bucs got hosed on 2 penalties on that last drive. The 'hitting a defenseless receiver' and the PI call were both crap. Even the guys in the booth said that they were.

HA!

Game. Set. Match.

Although I'm sure you homers are going to come and tell me how the NFL head of officiating doesn't know anything.

Well, actually, Mike Periera is not the NFL head of officiating anymore - he works for FOX Sports. But since you appear to have your head so far up Talib's butt, you may not have noticed that.

Oh, and I almost forgot... you BUC homer, you. :D

who cares about the bucs? You losers are going to get spanked in the playoffs.

Yeah....We probably will....If we even make the playoffs. Our defensive line is not up to par. They can't rush the passer for poo. They can't stop the run....and our MLB is as soft as a pillow. We have definitely have some holes. That said, at least we understand the rules of the game and don't go whining and blaming every loss on the officials. There was nothing wrong with the Talib hit. The (former ;) ) head of officiating said so himself. There were some questionable calls in the game, but it's not like they were all in the Bucs' favor.

Bottom line....Man up. Quit whining and blaming it on the officials. And most of all....learn the rules of the game.

I think you guys have more important things to worry about than complaining about a clean, legal play. The only thing illegal on that play was committed by a Panther player who should have put a block on Talib in the first place instead of allowing him to get in on an active goaline play in which the pile was still moving and a TD was up for grabs.

Buc fans know the feeling of being embarrassed all season long, and it's even more embarrassing if you reach for straws on individual plays to salvage your pride....it doesn't work.

Man up and move on.

Clausen got hit in the head because the offensive line got no push at all. Has nothing to do with bad play calling. Although Talib did take a cheap shot, the fact it was there to be taken is solely on the offensive line.

first effort might not have been the result of bad playcalling, but trying it a second time? yeah, i'll call it bad/typical playcalling.

After watching the play again, I don't think Talib will/should be fined. Helmet to helmet hits are only illegal on qbs (while passing) and defenseless receivers. On a qb sneak, while the qb is still moving forward to the endzone, he is treated like a running back.

Even so, it's questionable that Talib intentionally used his helmet. I think somebody mentioned earlier that in was a gray area between the pads and the helmet. I agree.

Also, to the people who said the game was over, it was not. If Clausen scores on the play it's a one possession game. Talib stole about 1% equity from the panthers on that play, you can't blame him for attempting to stop the play.

    • lmao that's a good point; but at the same time I think and HOPE Canales learned from how he operated last year, only giving us one real look against the Bills that had people shouting 'Super Bowl'...only to come out flat.
    • I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense.
    • I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud.  It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes.  I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...
