Dolphins targeting DWill

and you just pointed out Goodson being a drafted player being pretty good at it.. lol

Oy vey...

Fox has never made that an important find.. he's also gone, erase what you think you know and get ready to see how Rivera does this..

LOL thats wishful thinking and if it works out that way great but the fact is Goodson was One in a long line of fail. I mean we even tried Gamble out at ST for fug sake. The fact is Goodson is not better then Williams no matter how you cut it. People were ready to say goodbye to Goodson year before last because of Sutton. You see how that worked out last year right. Everyone is just ready to crown the hot guy every year because he is the new flavor of the year. I am thankful the Front office dose not follow the knee jerk reaction that most of you guys do.

I don't care why they left.. they were replaced..

and RB can be replaced.. You sign the Beason's, Kalil's, Smitty's, QB (vacant), Peppers..

You don't put a lot of cap room in a RB when you have 2 sitting behind him with a good 3rd in Sutton.. that's all I'm saying, and there isn't much of an argument against that main point...

know this... I definitely agree with you.. ;) just not when it comes to RB, especially in our situation..

even when you have an estimate of 70 million in cap space, you can afford some luxury.lmao but good point with the steelers and their wr situation.and i still hate we let pep walk.

Gamble got a shot at returns b/c he was a returner at Ohio St. Made sense.

also, Goodson is only 2 yrs into his career........and progressing. He will continue to do so hopefully. Williams is most likely about to start going backwards soon.

everybody thought that about lt as well.with all this said i thinks he deserves and earned at least 1 more contract with the panthers.

LT is a shell of what he use to be. The past 2 seasons he has played in 34 games.......he has 1 100 yard game. That is what one of the greatest RBs of alltime has done since hitting the 30 yr mark. Williams is approaching that 30 yr mark and not worth pumping big bucks into when you got a stacked backfield.

you have no fuging clue what we are even talking about, as evidenced by this last post...

I hear ya.. I think that luxury should be spent elsewhere in free agency.. and football is a business, if he deserves a contract, he'll find it elsewhere.. or he'll take a little bit of a lesser contract to stay with the Panthers..

Add in the fact that Stewart has not finished a whole season and bam we lose games because we let Dwill go.

Stewart has finished the past two seasons as the starter and has never missed an extended period due to injury. Don't make stuff up.

It seems you have our top two running backs confused. And finding a backup running back isn't hard.

Why do people seem to think that even if we re-sign Kalil and Charles Johnson, our best guys at those two positions, yet let Williams walk it means we are letting all our good players go? Running back is the easiest position to fill in football, and we have a 1200 yard rusher in Stewart waiting in the wings, so we'd technically only need to find a BACKUP RB. I think we will be okay whatever happens.

If we can get a second round pick out of him I would be happy, I would rather Williams stay but if the team wants him gone I hope we can get atleast a second round pick. Honestly I think he is worth a 1st round pick but due to injuries we may be lucky to get a second round pick. If Miami offers a 1st round pick I would jump on that pretty quick.

I wonder what Ricky Williams plans on doing, He seems to be over his problems and doesn't have the wear and tear most backs at his age have. He is a beast and I would think his price wont be much. Not saying I would want him on our team but he would be an upgrade over Goodson IMO.
