I like Mayonaise...(I know it wasn't on this one). Just wanted to say mayonaise.

It's great. It really pisses Billy Corgan off that's so many people's favorite pumpkins song since it's one of the few he didn't completely write. Iha wrote the guitar riffs that everyone lives in that one and Corgan basically just half ass threw some lyrics over top of it and everyone loved it. LOL

IMO the best album of my generation in terms of a true album experience of just turning it on and letting it play beginning to end.

great album for sure but Im a Siamese Dream devotee.  If I could only have one Pumpkins album Id take SD every day and twice on Sunday

Ordered the new Cat Stevens compilation released about a month ago. I still have original vinyl of Tea for the Tillerman, Teaser & the Firecat and Catch Bull at Four. This one came in clear vinyl, which is cool. A lot of vinyl being pressed now is colored or hazed or has some special artwork in the vinyl.

My Pops passed a little over two years ago and the other day as they were playing an interview with Cat the played an excerpt of Cats in the Cradle and man it hit hard...
The son putting off the dad, too busy...

Its not like it caused me to spiral or anything but damn...

Cats in the Cradle was Harry Chapin. Maybe you got them confused, nonetheless, it is a great song.

Cat did a song, Father and Son, which is another great song.

now dont I look stupid...

Never. I enjoy reading your takes and anytime I can learn something about new music or someone gives me an idea to go listen to something new, I'm off to find the next hidden gem.

Fwiw, both of those songs have a place with me, and I'm almost 70. No kids, but I always reflect on my childhood when I hear either of these.

    • That is the way I see it as well. We’ve gotten in a situation with Moton and his money to where he is overpaid now and could easily become a pretty big liability with that contract if he can’t be 100% healthy. Now suddenly, we have to address LOT this year and odds are, unfortunately, we will need both OT spots filled with new guys by 2027.  That will bring down the financial demands of fielding an OL and give you a chance to pay a top C. Big signing. Bonus low salary handles the finances of that for 2026 and you can have Icky off and maybe Moton too by ‘27 depending on how that all works out in the next calendar year.  Hunt is just flat overpaid for what he brings to the OL. You can love him and still see that. I hope.  We are looking at all this and at the same time knowing that by next year that lil QB could be an additional financial burden.
    • This makes an interesting case for two awards: Best QB (We'll workshop the actual title) and MVP-Other.
    • new article " If they do opt to roll with the younger and cheaper options, the Panthers probably wouldn't bite on Moore. They've seen him get worse since trading him away, and virtually no one on the team was part of that decision or that era. Still, it would be hilarious to see Moore return home. It would also be a pretty solid addition, assuming the Bears ate some of the cost and/or it didn't require much capital to get him. A wide receiver room of Tetairoa McMillan, Jalen Coker, Moore, Xavier Legette, and Jimmy Horn Jr. would be nice." https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/onsi/news/panthers-hilarious-landing-spot-unhappy-bears-wr#:~:text=It all looks like the, much capital to get him.
