Buddy of mine went, said the show was great but the traffic was a nightmare leaving.

traffic was a nightmare coming into charlotte. My wife and I were driving back from Raleigh area and google maps detoured us like almost an hour out of way around concord because it was so backed up

I was there, about 4 rows from the stage.  Was pretty awesome though I wasn't in love with the set-list.  Wanted more off AJFA and even Master.  Was hoping for at least one of the more rare ones this tour, Harvester, Blackened, or Inamorata etc.  I think this was my 5th time seeing them.  But still, two hours of great music and we lost 2-3 songs because of the 11pm Charlotte curfew.

I recently had emergency gallbladder surgery with complications so I didn't know if I could handle standing but luckily got through it, I mean it's Metallica.  My friend had his 11 year old there for his first real concert and everyone around us was working hard to get him a pick and have fun (my nephew ended up grabbing a pick for him).

We had a friend with employee paring nearby that dumps out of the city fast so only a 10 minute walk and we were out of there but I heard traffic was bad.

@Zaximus you made me think that even if my heart was willing, I just dont think the body is able anymore.

I hope the gallbladder surgery went well and you are recovering but it just reminded me that if it wasnt my back it would be my knees that would keep me from it.

One look at a mosh pit IRL might well cause my body to just surrender and collapse out of self defense

Yeah legs were sore for a day.  There wasn't too much mosh pitting at Metallica, a couple popped up but most people just gave them a look and they backed up and it ended fast.  But yes, next time probably seats lol.

    • Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.
    • Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.
    • Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
