While I agree with you in spirit my gut and my heart says I'm not falling for this again until I see consistent results across the entire upcoming season. Then I'll breathe a sigh of relief and truly feel better about the future.

Oh, absolutely.  I am ready to be hurt again, though.  Way better than what we have had previously.

I am thankful we all seem to like most Dan's decisions thus far.  I was worried with him coming in and being part of the previous regime.  I was optimistic, but I was also cracking pizza joint jokes.

We have to win one eventually, right?  Hopefully before I die.  I have a bottle of that Carolina Panthers wine waiting lol

Am I in the minority when I say that he could do a lot better than this girl. Famous or not she’s not that attractive

I mean, I've heard the same thing about him from a woman, so...beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I've also heard you g kids say she is attractive. I think that her persona is somewhat...uh, thuggeg-ou-err, masculine...and that may cloud or even define perceptions of her in the minds of many, especially older guys. I try to get past it.

I find this discussion somewhat interesting. I have eclectic music tastes. I don't care for genuine gangsta rap all that much, but I dabble here and there due to my son.

Personally, I listen to mash-ups a lot between country and hip-hop. This isn't even necessarily a good one (from what I'll call a lyric-transition standpoint ), but it has GloRilla in it.

Some of the mash-ups are a lot better though.

It's not like we get a poll on who should be a star.  She rose to the top for various reasons.

I don't think XL is Denzel, but he apparently moves the needle for enough ladies to get this kind of attention.

Appeal is a package deal, and she racks up enough points or we wouldn't be talking about her.  It's not like being attractive is a mandatory trait for being a musician/rapper.

To each his own I guess

Horrible would be an improvement. Most current female rappers are basically onlyfans thots behind a microphone.

Listen to Lauryn Hill with The Fugees and then try to listen to that. Talk about destroying a genre.

No you've just become an oldhead my brother. Most popular music is sex/money/drugs and always has been.

The country couple is cute together but it does worry me a bit that Legette's a social media cowboy crush before he's even football famous. Like if Taylor Swift was at the beginning of Kelce's career. Normally athletes have to stay relevant in their sport to date in this sphere but Xavier has a modeling career waiting for him if his day job ends up being a bust.

    • 1st period was a Masterclass on defense by both teams. About time for the Canes let’s keep it up.
    • Yes, it tells me they’ve improved significantly from sitting at what, 30-31st in the league on the PP to 11th now.
    • I wanted someone to hire him so we got the picks, but I'm also not upset that he'll now be back. I genuinely don't understand why so many fans on here dislike him so much.  No, he's not perfect and made some mistakes this year, especially at the end of the playoff game and going so soft in coverage on the final drive. But considering this place torched him all offseason for us having the "worst defense in NFL history" last year.  Said in the whole pre-draft process how we had to go defense in round 1 because of it and then complained the rest of the offseason that we didn't do enough to improve the defensive roster. How do people say all that about the defense and then complain when he turned that same unit into a pretty respectable defense this year.  They were really the only reason we were in a lot of games for most of the season, as the middle part of the season they really stepped up and were playing like one of the better defenses in the league. I don't see any reason we can't improve even more next year if we spend another offseason focusing on adding pieces on that side of the ball, which we should be able to do with our draft picks and cap space. We had the historically worst defense ever last year and people are upset because we weren't the 85 Bears this year, make it make sense.
