As for the FSU/Florida/Notre Dame comment - see below. 

The tie breakers are what they are. Nothing was changed on the fly. If you lose two conference games you know you're probably gonna need some help. You didn't get it. It is what it is. The tie breakers would be perfect as long they put Miami into eh championship game.

Eh, I'd say more like 4. The upper half of the SEC and Big 10 is better than the upper half of the ACC but the bottom half is about the same. It's those perennial bottom dwellers who get their self worth from these "SEC! SEC! SEC!" chants. Yeah, the SEC is good but they'd still be the SEC without you and your other bottom dwelling brethren. You're just roster fodder. Don't think you're different because of the conference alignment.

I mean even Vandy would have their way the Miami these days.  The U hasn’t been anything in YEARS!  and honestly still isn’t, this coming from an ACC fan that wants all ACC schools to beat the poo out of the SEC but I’m also honest.  No ACC school is there right now including Miami

Even Vandy? I mean, Vandy had their way with most of the SEC this year.

I think Miami this year is basically jn our with Tennessee this year.

Right but even SEC fans would tell you Vandy is only in the conference to keep the conference GPA up.  We all know Miami isn’t going to do that or beat Vandy

      I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.

      I don't really follow the team anymore due to a variety of reasons and consequently have largely stopped posting but I agree that this is a lovely website and community. This forum probably kept me around for years longer than I would've stuck otherwise because of how difficult it was to stop checking multiple times a day. Especially appreciate how lax the moderation tends to be compared to a lot of places, the crew here does a great job. Out of curiousity I decided to try making a new account (solely for testing purposes) to see what exactly is wrong with the sign up process. The issue seems to be that it never sends you an account verification email, thus making it impossible to complete registration. This is likely something to do with the email server upstream, hope it gets fixed. Also, lol

      Uh oh, Nicole Tepper hugged him. In all seriousness though every time I see more about him my hopes get higher. Smart, great attitude, prototype size and measurables, and athletic. He could be a great one.
