If he gets traded its to a competitive AFC team. This isn't worth getting worked up about

Yeah, the character attacks are just purely hilarious.

I just am not believing anyone here actually believes DB and a 3rd isn't an insane steal for Parsons as a hypothetical(and completely absurd) trade.

Did you even read that article you linked??

LOL

Might have linked the wrong one brother.  I ain't taking this as serious as you think I am.

Here's another one I linked if you didn't see it.  My only point is, this didn't come from nowhere.  If this many people are saying there is a problem, there might be a problem.

I never said anything about the value of the trade.  I said I was out for other reasons.  I would not trade for Parsons.

Here's another article alluding to his attitude issues that I clearly made up from Sports Illustrated to push my narrative.  @kungfoodude I request a trade for you to the Cowboys fans.

Jokes.  It ain't that serious boys.

Dude, are you referring to Bayless and Cowherd? Come on, all I'm asking you to be is reasonable.

Plenty of this is not from the podcast.  I didn't even listen to the podcast.  I told you, I have come up with all this on the fly since y'all act like this issue doesn't exist.  Believe whatever you want to brother.  You clearly have created this wild narrative about me.

See?  Like I said, no matter what I say, you are just going to discredit it.  I guess I will just dip since y'all are so stuck in this mindset.

Fun while it lasted.  Y'all have fun.

For reference, for the people who seem to not understand the context here, Panthers GOAT Julius Peppers was averaging 0.675 sacks/game through four seasons in his NFL career.

Parsons is averaging 0.833.

another reference, we went to a Superbowl and an NFCC in those 4 years. You gotta have that pass rush to go deep. I wouldn't want to trade DB for parsons though. You need both if your serious about giving the eagles a run for their money.

That was a stacked team inside and outside on that DL. DB is the only player on our roster with any hope of seeing PT in that group.

Im and idiot. Wrong years. Never mind

Yeah, Parsons was in the Horn draft. Would I trade Horn and a 3rd for Parsons? Hell, I'd carry Jaycee Horn from Charlotte to Dallas piggyback style for that deal. LOL

The concern with Parsons' draft projection was whether he was an off the ball LB or an edge rusher or was he a tweener? I was leery projecting him as an edge but it obviously worked out.

    • Several of those guys you listed are upgrades over Bryce and several more are potential upgrades.  There will be other starting(or former) QB's coming available too(Geno Smith, Kyler Murray, Kirk Cousins, etc). Or there are backups that can clearly be upgrades(Mac Jones, Jacoby Brissett, Davis Mills, etc). Now, how realistic any of these options are is questionable. For any of the acquisition options, price would be a big factor. For any of the older veterans their motivation for even wanting to come to a team like this is pretty questionable. That extends to several other FA candidates, as well. Are we operating in a therotical world where Bryce is still here and presumed to be the starter? That is going to eliminate some options. Are we operating in a theoretical world where it is a "competition" and Bryce is still here? Or is Bryce gone completely? Those are all factors that make various of these scenarios both more and less "realistic." But, if the question is can we upgrade over Bryce? There is no question we can do so through free agency or potentially the draft.
    • The whole “pick up the fifth year but also bring in competition” is the weirdest take. you only pick up the fifth if he’s the guy. You don’t bring in someone to “push” him if you think he’s it. throwing a seventh or whatever at a project isn’t relevant either way.
