Just seems you skewed the numbers on height and weight to fit the narrative.  Update bros Wikipedia page if you are so sure?

They inflate sizes in a lot of sports.  I don't think Young is the only one getting a favorable measurement.

I just hope the guy is ready for the jump.

Young was weighed and measured at the Combine.

They don't lie there.

I agree with you about fragile egos. But it is outside the realm of possibility. If we wanted him we should have drafted him. He was falling.

Now instead we get to see if we've found our new PJ Walker...

At this point, I think Bryce must have a fragile ego. The Patriots always drafted a QB, even when their guy was Tom Brady. The Panthers were worried about bringing in any perception of competition.

Now right a wrong and send a fourth and Jack Plummer for Sanders.

It's funny that some people think Perkins is going to change things.  He was fun to watch in the XFL.  Great athlete, but there's a rather substantial difference between Spring and Fall football.  He's going to play a lot against Pittsburg, hope he's a quick study.

Look, if Perkins became the next great rags to riches QB story, please serve me up the crow.  I'll eat all of it.  But remember what happened with the last XFL MVP QB we had...

Kurt Warner and Jake Delhomme are a thing.  It’s happened.  The likelihood of it happening are slim to none, but I will say this - Perkins couldn’t be walking into a better situation.  On paper, he may be the most physically gifted QB on the roster.  When both games we’ve played had every QB that took a snap for the opposing team look equal or better than all three of ours, I would say that bodes well for any QB we signed.

I'm officially retiring my PJ Walker fandom.  No more Lavar Ball memes ever again.  It was a good ride.  But, it's over.

Bryce Perkins?  I mean, THIS is it.  Because EVERYONE knows what time it is!  Just imagine this hitting the air at BOA.

People always love a good underdog story and since we had Jake Delhomme, the fans remember a rags to riches QB success, despite the fact that those are extremely rare.

This guy is here to eat up snaps in a meaningless game due to injuries. The odds of him making this roster are quite small, as he has literally missed the entire offseason here. Even a PS spot is a little far fetched.

I don't think Plummer's PS spot is far fetched at all.  Plummer stinks

I mean, at that point you are one injury away from literally it being a formality we are gonna lose that week.

Dalton is at least competent.

Which, I suppose we are close to that being reality regardless.

I think Dalton is done. But virtually every team in the NFL is a qb injury away from being terrible. I doubt KC would win 5 games without Mahomes.

I think people vastly underrate his competence when it comes to being a backup. I also think people WAAAAAAAAY overrate the role of a backup QB.

    • Can't keep pining for what never happened....but for god sakes, DeJean, Frazier... and we got this dude in a R1 trade up.  The most notable blunder of this era, that's for sure.
    • Overall, fine.  Wish we landed a guy to pair with Lloyd but I presume this means they're giving Trevin one final year to put it together (72nd overall 2 years back).  Flashed potential year 1, had a dud last year.   R1: Freeling LT - Great value and a need; landed our new long term LT that could end up starting off the bat.  Icky had a terrible injury and is not playing in his contract year.  Walker is what he is on a 1-year rental, who even knows how he fits. You get premier OTs early if you can find em' and he has what you want.  I thought he could have gone as high as 6/CLE pre-draft, so am a big fan of the selection.  Looking at this class, he's one of the guys at the top that is like "okay that's the LT".  Others have this right/left or G/T type discussion about them.  Freeling is an LT.   R2: Hunter NT - We didn't really have anyone replacing A'Shawn's snaps in our rotation.  Wharton & Brown aren't 3 downers so adding Hunter to the mix fills a big void. I dug deep into S and LB this draft so was a bit to zeroed in - In recognize the value and impact add in the trenches. R3: Brazzell WR - Intriguing.  Given our history, I don't really want to place any expectations here, but a different style weapon for Bryce. I pretty much expect a WR drafted yearly with this regime. Other notables.. Hecht C - These are the type of rounds where starting centers have been found.  We got a starter for this year, but Hecht seems pretty capable and I like it for a long term find.  SOLID AF.  Wheatley S - A pretty well regarded safety prospect.  And we see it every year (like this one) safeties get hyped, people think they may go sooner than expected, and the league reminds them how it rolls.  Plenty of nice safeties have been found in the 4th-6th in recent years.  Big fan of Wheatley. Can't say I know enough about Lee or the others.
