Should call the giants and inquire for jameis

He isn't the answer but at least he can throw the ball ten yards down the field

And again, all these guys were available to us at any point before now for a lot less compensation.  Jameis, Fields, Shedeur, Milton, etc.  but this dumbass franchise tried to sell everyone the snake oil that is Bryce.  fuging garbage.

Well, maybe after the game we can debate which of his bad plays was the worst.

but that’s how you know he was awful today.  Because it will be a debate and a lot of plays to discuss.

Those plays were bad, but he was not all bad.

Said it above: The verdict based on this game would be "not good enough", but when it came to looking bad he had a LOAD of help, and still a lot of games to go

This isnt directed towards you, LG, just using your post as a springbaoard tk a more general realization…. I think it’s officially time to stop looking for the mysterious piece Bryce needs.  In our optimism, we all hoped XL was it.  Or JT.  Then Tet.  Then Renfrow.  He has the most physically talented WR corps we have ever fielded and still looks like poo.  We’re talking about an NFL QB who only had 56 yards in the 4th qtr, was just sub 50% completion, and has two, and what should have been three turnovers.  This experiment is over.

Well, there's #3...

I've been saying this since the middle of last year.

He's not a good QB but he has a live arm and isn't afraid to try any throw, he'll cost us games, but he'll help develop these young pass catching weapons better than Bryce will.

Just develop them for the year and go back to figuring out the QB situation next offseason.

    • Sam Darnold was the 2018 QB. Not Mayfield, Allen, or Jackson. Firing Rhule was the key. Wilks, Darnold, CMC, Rico, TMac, Moore, and Coker would have gotten the job done. Toss in all the extra picks wasted on day one and day 2 project players, and the Panthers have a top defense too.
    • That’s if you draft the wrong quarterback. Patriots aren’t having to do that. They are straight in year two.  I suppose you could argue that they did draft the wrong one and then built like you said.  The difference is, if that were the case, they moved on from their mistake. That’s what I am thinking about that.
    • Yeah. That start to his career was about as bad as it can get. In New York, Meat grinder press corps, of the first degree,    When he came here he was on OC 3 - in year 3.  And people in this fan base that think they are smart, could not take that stuff into account.  Now, most of the smart ones are not Bryce Stans but Bryce gets 4 damned years free pass. At least 3  The fail of the organization AND fan base in general, fuging shamefully short sighted,  And the choking thing, players have to fail before they succeed. With very few exceptions. Last year was really his first meaningful, high stakes game. Okay, he didn’t play well. They learn from that, or are supposed to. You don’t throw out a guy with all those tools and with his rocky did him no favors background for not being perfect right away.  He might suck in the SB, but he proved a ton this year.    If we’d have had any patience he was the guy to use it on, not Bryce Young.
