Could probably get Jameis for pennies

We aren't winning anything with this defense with Jameis throwing for 300 yards with 2 TDs and 3 INTs but it would at least give us a better ability to evaluate our other offensive positions.

They found a way to win a few last year despite the defense. Good Jameis would eat in this offense. Bad Jameis is just a couple notches below Bryce’s ceiling. He’s the Ted Ginn of QBs.  Brown being back, FA and the draft makes the defense no worse than last year… not worthy of being called better… I’ll say less terrible.

Jameis has a good arm and fits the downfield scheme much better, but he’s old and erratic.

Sounds a helluva lot more enjoyable to watch than this Bryce Young poo.

Winston would be entertaining but is just a place holder till next year.  I get the idea of tanking for a 2026 QB, but I have no confidence in who our dipshit front office would draft. I would take Howell. He has some upside and potential.

Jameis Winston is like a trash can punch party. Its either gonna be one hell of a night, or a hangover that makes you want to swear off drinking forever. There is no middle ground.

Young is like warm non alcoholic beer.

The Patriots have had to lean on Maye’s arm more heavily than ideal, and adding a runner capable of producing efficient yardage would give the offense better balance.
    • There aren't 32 legitimate starting caliber QBs in the league. Just like when we were starting Bell and Chandler at OT, did that make them legit "starters"? I mean, technically I guess it did since they were indeed starting but they sure as hell weren't starting caliber players. If you have the 30th best starting QB in the league, you desperately need a starting QB and there's likely backups on other rosters better than your starter just like there were better backup OTs on other rosters than Bell and Chandler.
    • Name a QB as bad as Bryce who had their 5th picked up?  You certainly can name better ones who didn't have it picked up.
