Even when you watch the mediocre QBs with tight pockets, they can stand and fling. Tua, Penix, Purdy, they can step up in tight pockets and make the throws Bryce’s size doesn’t allow him to do that — his dropback speed and running ability is not remotely close to Kyler or Russ so he doesn’t create that space to step into things when he finds his sight lines. He’s just running scared if we’re not in an empty set vs softer zone packages. -

Well, there was that one sixth round guy... Anthony Richardson, Tim Couch and Johnny Manziel were all first round picks. There have been later round and even undrafted picks that have outplayed first rounders.
