When yall gonna admit that Derrick Brown is not a game changer . Not even close to one . Don’t get sacks nor TFLs . He just be out there

Brown's impact isn't always the kind that shows up on personal stats.

IMO lack of running game is the largest problem. And it has been pedestrian which no one saw this coming. I know Hubbard has to be frustrated.

The Tight Ends showed well.  As for XL, he creates little to no separation. I would love to see him utilized in slants and crossing routes.  He does not strike me as a sideline threat. But with all the physical gifts he has, use him in slants and see if his productivity rises. I would think he is a big RAC threat.

I think the defense looking somewhat average today is a complete mirage. Playing zone against Kyler Murray has always been the smart play because he’s erratic when he has to pick a defense apart.

There are a couple qbs on our schedule this year that are going to absolutely shred this defense with the pass:  Love, Allen, Mayfield, Stafford. There’s gonna be some ugly games down the line.

Bryce's stat padding ain't fooling me. He remains to be one of the worst starting QBs in NFL history when the game matters, and the stats and eye test back that up. When he has 50 yards going into the half yet again next week, I don't want to hear anybody trying to validate.

First round QB picks find a way to get the win. Fifth round QB picks don't. He was way over drafted.

I still think the defense looked much much better this year than most of last year.

The offense / special teams did them no favors until the 4th quarter IMO.

Not glossing over anything, but also not making excuses to try and explain away when Bryce played well. That's just as dishonest as the flipside.

It is not trying to explain away. Bryce only played well when the game was out of reach. As soon as there was a chance the Cards could lose the game they put their foot back on the gas and smothered Bryce and that was with multiple defenders out because of injury.

Just go compare his stats from the first half and our last drive of the game vs the first 28min of the second half.

You are just a Bryce super homer. You can't see anything due to those blinders.

Are there Bryce homers? 🤔

I know there are some folks who, even if he has the game of his life, will never forgive him for not being 6'3.

(or, in some cases, not being Cam Newton)

I don't give a sh-t about his size if he can consistently play at an NFL level.

Sadly, the jury's still out on that. I have seen him play well, but not enough that I'm confident.

What impact then? That's usually what you say if your stud DT is anchoring a strong run D, but we're not stopping the run. I notice top DT's all the time. Chris jones, Jalen Carter, Q Williams, Vita Vea, J Simmons etc . Look what Calais Campbell just did to us. I'll give Brown a pass for now because he's coming back from a season ending injury, but his impact has been disappointing

Defense only gave up 20 points, under 100 rushing yards, and under 300 total yards. 1 sack, 4 TFL, 4 QB hits, and 5 PDs. That’s pretty respectable considering how the offense put them in some bad spots.

Also TMac is legit, JT is coming along, Tremayne showed a little something, Princely got a sack, Ransom made some plays. Maybe just maybe we can develop some young talent from a change and build a roster. Shout out to Smith-Wade as well who offenses tend to avoid with Horn.

Well, there was that one sixth round guy...

Anthony Richardson, Tim Couch and Johnny Manziel were all first round picks. There have been later round and even undrafted picks that have outplayed first rounders.
